Does anyone remember small maps with vehicles?

Does anyone remember the days when even the smaller maps in halo had vehicles.
Ascension had the Banshee, Turf had a Ghost and Hog, Isolation had a ghost and Mongooses, Snowbound had a ghost. Yeah, I miss that…

Vehicles are a core part of Halo’s sandbox imo.

Not much of a reason to use Mongeese in most of the games other than getting from point A to B in objective, passenger and even driver just became easy targets.

I miss it too but I feel sprintings the reason there isn’t many vehicles on smaller maps

Vehicles are more power weapon rival than a sprint counter-part. Also a hybrid of both, could be said.

I’d like to see how a ghost would play on Live Fire. There is a bunch of open terrain.

Doesn’t seem like 343 want to revive that core part of Halo…even in BTB you spend most of your time on foot.

I’ve seen a strong disconnect in 343’s higher up decision makers choices on what they don’t like but we the fan/customers might love. This has been going on since day one. Maybe forge and a custom browse might help if they pay attention.

… Behemoth? Launch Site?

Medium Map

One Way Road version of Countdown that gives you a tiny skybox for when Fiesta grants you a Banshee or a Wasp?

They really like to ignore the obvious when they feel like it.
