This is a legitimate question, but does anyone else on PC feel like Console players have weird in game benefits? I feel like its always them that shoot through walls, or around corners, or eat more bullets, etc.
Is there a measurable discrepancy between the two platforms and how the game registers what’s going on for anyone? I may just be imagining it, but it feels like a distinct pattern.
Honestly Console players probably feel the same about PC players, but I proved that on MCC at least there is a distinct yet minor hit detection issue when console players are trying to kill pc players, so maybe something else is wonky here too.

On the PC front, all I can verify is that I somehow got the game to run on an RX 550. Beyond that, I can’t share anything useful.
On the Console front, I’m not sure if it’s the client, the netcode or the awful servers, but getting shot around corners or taking odd amounts of damage at once definitely happens to me on a frequent basis.

All I can say is the game runs like garbage even at the lowest settings on NASA PCs. It makes even the most expensive gaming PCs look like a $200 Dell laptop. At least it’s optimized to function more stable on Xbox X. Also apparently PC players only hit about 50-70% of shots due to bad hit registration, so I’ll get killed by an AR in 1 second, but empty all my ammo on them and they might live

I would not be surprised honestly. I bought a PC to upgrade from console last year, and now the console gets all the in game perks lol.
My guess is they’re optimizing the game for console players because those are the target audience. PC’s that can run this game are way more expensive, so its less likely the majority of people playing will have one
The issues you’re discussing are not limited to pc users. Xbox players experience all the same style of hit detection and inherent latency problems as well. At least from my experience they do.
I don’t believe these issues stem from any platform being favored more than the other. To me, it seemed as though extra effort was put in to ensure PC was a good platform to play Halo, if those PC overview videos mean anything. Some might even say they focused on PC too much and not enough on console, but that’s a topic for another time.
The issues must come from the servers. Be you high end or low end pc gamer, be you Xbox one or Xbox Series player; you are capable of experiencing the hit detection/registration issues.

Hard to say because no one can really tell if someone is on PC or Xbox unless their are in the same lobby.

For me it’s the other way around, PC always shoots me through walls.
