Does Anyone Miss Halo 3 As Much As I Do?

Halo 3 is easily my favorite game of all time with no second thoughts. With the master chief collection coming out now and after playing it, it makes me miss halo 3 even more. Im glad they re-made all the games but matchmaking just does not have same feel at all. I miss the halo 3 ranking system, it was soo competitive. MLG and gamebattles was an insane amount of fun and competitiveness. customs games with friends could last hours on hours on hours. I loved being able to get on xbox live and see 20 of my friends on Halo 3. Also this was the game to play if you had an xbox and it was the game to play for years not like the call of duty’s where there is a new on every year, this game was amazing for years and still should be played to this day. This game needs to be remastered and released as its own title so we can all enjoy the greatness once again. Back in the day Bungie was also the best they cared about us all and now they released a game that was overhyped and not even worth the sixty dollar price tag. i think we all need to look back at the halo 3 days and go back, back to treating the gamers right and giving them more than what they paid for because happiness and satisfaction is really what it is about anyway. As gamers and Halo fans we should not settle for anything less than spectacular because thats what were paying for in a game. If you don’t think the next game you buy is amazing let your voice be heard and let them know that we’re tired of crappy games and the gaming indrustry needs to change from everything being about money to everything being about the consumer!

Halo 3 is my all time favorite too. I really like it in MC Collection though. The maps are all there and I can finally play them on a regular bases. Plus custom games I don’t have to worry about who has what map pack anymore.

While I went pretty hardcore with the ranking system in Halo 3 (for years it was tons of fun) all I wanna do these days is just keep playing on all the maps. The 60 fps and 1080p for Halo 3 has been so awesome.

Halo 3 is my third favorite game in the Halo franchise. But I loved the “Believe” trailers years ago.

I DO!!!

yeah, Halo 3 has been my favorite game of all time, it’s even the first Halo game I’ve ever played

Ugh, too inconsistent. Terrible BR, dumbed-down melee system, characters becoming cliche and idiotic (Truth; Miranda), Brutes are less powerful than their Halo 2’ counterparts, the ranking system was dumbed-down, half of the weapons are useless, some of the maps were just not memorable at all, etc. Halo 3 was a good game, but a watered down Halo 2.

Halo 3 was a masterpiece! Matchmaking was amazing from lone wolves to team slayer. Even social was perfect for when you just wanted to mess around with noobs. Lets not forget custom games! which gave me and I’m sure everyone else endless hours of fun. Forge was nice as well. Overall Halo 3 was a perfect Halo game easily one of the greatest games ever period

Not really. Sorry

YES! Halo 3 was my childhood.

Yeah I wish I could go back to then or experience it again now it’s sad.

Anyone that says this game wasn’t fun is lying or they’re just too clingy to Halo 2.

Halo 3 was the -Yoinking!- best thing ever, and will never say any different.
I managed to get over 1000g on it and the security armour and the Katana.
I also think it was the best looking halo of the series, I -Yoinking!- loved the sandbox map because of the sunset and the colours and it’s a shame that Halo just isn’t what it used to be.

So many good memories on H3

Yeah I really miss Halo 3. Halo 3 was so much fun back in the day. Great Forge, great Multiplayer, great Custom Games, great playlists, great everything. I used to have a bunch of online friends I played Halo 3 with everyday, but they all ditched me, and I don’t have any online friends. I seriously haven’t had a single online friend in 4 years. I never accept anyone online in forums or on reddit because I’m too shy.

I am trying to complete the Halo 3 campaign on Legendary again. haha

H3 was awesome! Played the -Yoink- out of it in high school!

I miss the days when more than 12 people played FFA at a time
