Does anyone listen to metal while playing?

Well the post says it, and if so, what band and or type?

I don’t listen to any music, it distracts me.

It depends on what play style Im going for. If im playing casually, I will listen to music, including metal, however I have not listened to as much metal as I did in High School. Competitively, I just blast the TV.

Sometimes in campaign I listen so soundtracks, but otherwise, No.

Never have. Always prefer in-game sound and music when I’m playing.

Music distracts me from the game.

I do occasionally listen to music, but not metal.

If I’m listening to anything, it’ll be something to get me in the mood. So mostly breaking benjamin (and even then, mostly just two songs).

That, or halo music :stuck_out_tongue:

I recorded the audio from battlefield 3 when the match is about to end and the music starts to ramp up. When I play games like Halo and stuff I start that around the 35 kill mark and let it escalate as the match gets closer to ending. Makes things more epic and tense.

Other times I just pull out my ipod and hook it up to my astro mix amp and listen to whatever I feel like listening to.

Only during Score Attack and Campaign. Music distracts me from hearing teammates.

Also, thrash or die. Unless I am in a prog mood.

In Campaign, no I don’t listen my own music.

In Multiplayer I usually listen to relaxing classic music.

I don’t listen to metal at all.

i listen to heavy guitar pieces but i dont like vocals while i play

Often I Usually Do

And It’s Either
Bullet For My Valentine
Disturbed
Five Finger Death Punch

If you mean the metal sounds from me humping up and down on corpses in-game, then yes. Otherwise no. I need to hear everything in-game.

Sometimes but only if I’m playing casually and then only to Frederic Chopin

When playing I listen to some Halo Soundtracks, call me a nerd and paint me green.

same here unless its in the game i dont listen to music at all

Slayer
Nuclear Assault
Toxic -Yoink!-
Napalm Death

Those are my bands and anything less is music not worth listening to. Every now and then a Metallica song (one of the old one’s/For Whom the Bells Toll) is ok. I also listen to these only when I honestly don’t care, find teammates without mics, or in firefight or campaign.

I more frequently listen to my “Halo Playlist” on iTunes. Basically consists of every single halo theme music, has all game music plus fan music. Though some of my faves are connected and LvUrFR13NDS.

You’re my new best friend.

Also, Overkill, Whiplash, and Piledriver.
