Does anybody know if halo 4 console come with different code for each unit. I heard that each halo 4 console codes are going to be different and not the same. Is that true or false?

The content is different and unique to each SKU. While we know there are completionists that would like to have it all, it’s not unreasonable to think that we may eventually make all of the content available one day. I would also like to point out, since this is a thing that generates lots of conversation, that the unique or exclusive items are custom created and curated for that purpose or promotion or partner, rather than simply redistributed from stuff created for the shipping game. It’s a subtle distinction I suppose, but in our case a real one.
It was also talked about at SDCC.
They just said that the bonus is different for each SKU, I think they all have the same bonus.

So basically each halo 4 Xbox unit is going to have a different dlc, is that correct?
I’m pretty sure they were just saying that the console comes with different dlc than the limited edition.

No, every Halo 4 Xbox console will have to the same dlc. Because every Halo 4 Xbox’s have the same SKU. You guys are getting SKU confused with “Serial Number”. When they were talking about Different content with the different SKUs they were saying the Console will come with the content than the Limited Edition Game.

A SKU, in simplified layman terms, is very similiar to a UPC. It is a vendor’s product code to identify what the product is. I.e. the Halo 4 Xbox has a different SKU than a standard Xbox.

SKU - Stock Keeping Unit.
Serial Number - A number showing the position of an item in a series.
Every single Halo 4 Xbox that is made will have a different Serial Number. However at retailers every single one of those same Xbox’s will have the same SKU.
For example:
GameStop SKUs
Halo 4 Xbox 360 console = 020350
Limited Edition Halo 4 = 201377
Normal Halo 4 game = 201141
Extra content will be different for each different SKU, not each different serial number…meaning all Halo 4 consoles will have the same extra content. But the Limited Edition copy and the Console will have different extra content.
