I know this is somewhat random, but does anyone know what happens to Lord Hood in between Halo 3 and Halo 4? Is it possible he’s in Halo 4-6? Just curious. If anyone has a definitive answer I’ll make sure to mention it in an edited version of the OP.
Probably back on Earth after the Infinity leaves Sanghelios.
He’s alive and well, currently he’s attempting to facilitate a Peace Treaty with The Elites. He even went as far as aiding Thel 'Vadum during the Civil War on Sanghelios by bailing him out of a one-sided fight.
As of now? Well, he could be anywhere. He could even be on the Infinity during the Halo 4 Campaign.
I don’t think that anything happens to him. Reading the recent Karen Traviss Halo books just says that he is working on diplomacy between humans and the elites and overall just helping to rebuild humankind.

Diplomacy is more important than aiding Infinity and Master Chief. Plus the Storm they see it as not a threat I’m sure. The fleet is small so no threat.
