Ok. So there have been a few rumors going around about Halo 5 coming to PC. Is this true/false or is it the case that no one knows? It would make sense to put it on the PC as there is a huge market out there looking for a new game that has a Great multiplayer and an amazing single player.(Guesses based on what I have seen) Or are like me and like/love the halo game’s but have ether upgraded to a PC and don’t really want to go back (For reasons like better graphics, better FPS, more games, cheaper game, etc) or like me don’t have enough money for an Xbox One or the game or the gold membership is you want to play the multiplayer. So is it coming, is is not or is it that no one knows.
Well if you stream X1 to you’re Win10 computer then I guess H5 is on PC? otherwise probably not sry

If only, but I doubt it; after all the trouble MS went through to make sure Halo 2 Vista bombed to have an excuse not to bother with PC ports anymore, it’d be a shame to let all that hard work go to waste.

Actually CE was did quite fine on the PC, and it is still quite popular within it’s own community. As for sales nowadays…

It really doesn’t help that MS made it a broken, half–Yoinked!- port using a universally loathed online system on an OS that few people were using which was also nearly universally loathed among those few. I know, Hanlon’s razor and all, but it’s just easier for me to believe that no one could -Yoink- up that bad by accident.

CE sold really well, especially considering there isn’t a digital version at all. And no, Halo 5 will probably never be on PC. We’re still waiting on 3. The most we get will be tablet type games like Spartan Assault, unfortunately.

No Halo Wars 2 as well
It is not. Halo has always been the IP that MS uses to sell consoles.
I’d put the probability at maybe 10% you will ever see Halo 5 on PC. That said, you’ll only see it in 3-4 years at the minimum (around 2019) because it’s the “killer app” for the Xbox console. It’s going to sell potentially millions of Xboxs and releasing it on multiple platforms would essentially being Microsoft cutting their own throat. They want all people willing to purchase the Xbox to do so, then they may release it on PC years down the line for people who game exclusively on PC.
It’s not confirmed but you can play the prequel Halo 4 in 2999.

That’s like asking if Halo 5 will later be on PS4. It just won’t, sorry dude. Go buy a used X1. They’re like less than 200 dollars at GameStop I think.

Only reason I’d want a PC version of Halo 5 is for improved graphics, and 5 on Xbone still looks great despite the resolution scaling
Not every FPS is well suited to mouse + keyboard (despite what the elitists will tell you), and Halo is a prime example of this. It was intended for a controller.
m/k controls (among other things) sapped the fun out of Halo Online for me
