I have the first generation and i want to know how much I need to erase.
They Recommend 8gb free
you need 8 gigs just to play multiplier the 2nd disk is just an installation disk after you install it you will only need the first disk to play everything. i would recommend at least 13 gigs to get both disks installed so you dont have to worry

They recommend 8GB because thats the next size up from 4GB, i think. i’m pretty sure it’s actualy like 4.5GB
