Every now and then I jump on Halo Custom Edition/ Halo PC and play, and despite it being a decade old, I still see a lot of people on the servers nowadays, which is amazing.
I love playing Halo 1’s multiplayer (then again I’m like that with EVERY Halo so it doesnt really matter).
Does anyone here still play, and if they do, would you like to join up in a server and play together?
I would but most of the servers are modded game types like explosive snipers and battlecreek shotguns, and I dont really have fun playing those. If there were official servers for classic CTF and Slayer i would probably play… A lot.

Well I mean, the problem with that is that there ARE no more official servers. They’'re all hosted by other players now.

I know. Look on the bright side, in less than a month the MCC will be here and hundreds of thousands of people will be playing the original halo.
Also they are using the PC port so you will have all the cool stuff like flamethrowers and rockethog.
I’ve been playing a few games every night for the past few months. Just to get the feel for it again. I’ve mainly been playing Halo 2 PC and One games.
Keep you eyes open for the name “Leaf” I mainly just play on whatever has Infinity CTF or Death Island FFA
I try logging on to custom edition as much as possible and Halo 2 multiplayer but there’s only people on at specific times and it’s hard to find out when. I was hoping somebody would have servers up at a time. If anybody knows specifics I’m down. Halo should have gotten better treatment on the PC…
With Windows 10 coming out with that cross-play feature, maybe Halo will get better treatment on PC.

When they shut down the Halo 2 pc servers I think a lot of people began to stop playing as much

I used to be on all the time, but now it just seems too laggy to even try.
I agree too laggy. always has been
I mean if you want to play multiplayer then ask friends who have the pc ver, to let you have your Direct IP to play multiplayer but i dont have anyone to play with
They should be local multiplayer for Halo CE or Halo 2 at gaming festival, that would be amazing… going back old school with random people and getting along with new people like the old times
