Asking because I would love to see it in game. Of course buck wears it in the campaign but the patern is different and I cant imagine the visor looking as good.

Yeah i’m reading some posts and im actually getting pretty scared that its going to look ugly 
Thats why I really want to see it in game before I spent 2000 hours chasing this thing and it sucks…

Yea I’m not a fan of all the white, I try to pick armors that don’t have a bunch of it…for my aesthetics

The sad part is…
Some permulations, all of the variants have some color marking that you can’t change.
Helljumper(s)- white
Any campaign variant^
Either white paint or akward secondary color designs.
Recon - white, cyan , yellow paint all over it.
Default recon has a black design that doesn’t adjust to map lighting well.
Alot of armors have this issue.
I almost liked that new armor cyclops, but it’s like 30% white paint!

Yea there are a few I enjoy but the white markings just kills it. So I have to just find one I can deal with =/
Just take a look at me and see if you like it. My two colors are Pepper and Brick, the white just stays there no matter what you do.

If (or more likely when) I unlock the Helljumper armour/helmet set, I’m probably just going to use the helmet and not the armour, instead using something that looks better and doesn’t have cosmetic things that can’t be changed.

Yeah I’m hearing a lot of negative feedback on the white color markings that cannot be changed. Man what a bummer!
Guess its nightall armor or nothing to look like a ODST these days…
Imagine they added upgraded ODST armour like what Alpha-Nine wear in Halo 3 ODST. They could even say that they armour has been updated to appease former ODSTs that are now Spartans.

That’s the base variant. The alternate has a smiley face looking thing.
I have the armor (only the armor, not the helmet).
The campaign variants all have the extra markings so that no player can look exactly like the characters from the game.
Yeah, the external knife & pouches are cool, but the paint job. FUGLY! Roll with Wrath from the Memories of Reach update.
