Does Anyone Even Like Rumble Pit?

I can’t even finish a match its so unplayable. I’m about to actually slam my head in a door until this torment is over.

All I have to do is complete a match and I can’t do it

I like Rumble Pit BUT I hate that it has 6 variants inside of it, that’s a lot of names in the hat when you just want to play normal FFA Slayer.

Eww, no. I tried for a few weeks when the challenges ushered me there, but since then I’ve swapped every one of them (at least when I’m pursuing the weekly).

FFA players are a completely different breed.

I agree, I stopped playing Halo as my favourite game type is Free for All Slayer and since they threw that into Rumble Pit I seem to always get game types I don’t enjoy.

Hopefully they keep Rumble Pit with all the other variants and then maybe add a new Lone Wolves playlist that is only normal Slayer. Moving forward they could even possibly add a Ranked Lone Wolves at some point.

I like it. There some nice variety in there too.

I also like Rumble Pit. Vampireball is lots of fun, and I like FFA Fiesta.

The people who don’t like it are probably wanting a lone wolves type playlist from halo 3. I would also like to see that return and don’t know why it’s taking so long to implement one

FFA game modes have never been my cup of tea honestly, even dating back with the original Quake. The game is generally stacked against you, and to win consecutively you need to be exceptionally good at the game to pull it off and understand what it takes to actually win. You also need to tone your mindset to enjoy FFA matches differently then normal games, you should be focusing more on preforming well, and not focusing on winning. Other wise you’re probably going to be ripping your hair out in frustration when you don’t get first place over and over again.

Finish? I have avoided Infinite for a long time then recently had a long play session last night then I tried rumble pit and it seemed kind of dead since long loading times so I guess not popular.

if im in the mood for it its great. especially the one with grapples and swords

I like Rumble Pit but I think it could be way better, more social and feel more fun.

  1. Add Skockets (Rockets and Skewers), Snipers (S7s Only), One in the chamber (I remember Splitgates version being pretty fun, use that as the blueprint), Escalation Slayer (Gun Game) and other fun modes.

  2. Have higher weighting for the fun modes (Snipers, Skockets, Ninja Slayer, Fiesta, Escalation Slayer, One in the Chamber, etc.)

  3. Remove Oddball (Vampireball is much better)

  4. Allow fireteams to play together in Rumble Pit

  5. Add a Ranked FFA Slayer playlist (6 players, Ranked Settings, Slayer Only, Playable as Solo Only).

Love Rumble Pit. My favorite is still the classic slayer FFA.

Only 343 would name a season Lone Wolves and not include a Lone Wolves game…
We want FFA SLAYER ONLY

Me and my friends will be having fun if they ever were stupid enough to allow this. Since we can communicate via third party tools, teaming up and slaughtering everyone else will be fun.

They allowed it in social FFA in previous Halos and Im only suggesting this in the social FFA playlist where winning really doesnt matter.

In Halo 3 I did; It was the best playlist to bolster your skill rank. In Infinite I don’t have any reason to play outside of specific challenges.

I know it was in previous games, we did it there too. It was fun to do it there too, smack talk to people before, during and after the game. Giving the ball to people in our squad to extend the length of the match. It’s only a game right, doesn’t matter if we stomp everyone into the dirt. Allowing this to happen means that Bungie at the time was fine with it, and allowing it in Halo Infinite means 343i would also be fine with this way of play. We’re only wanting to play the game for fun and all.
