My first Halo game was Halo 5. After playing it, I thought it was great. Then I bought Halo reach. While playing the campaign, I noticed him much better the story was compared to Halo 5. In Halo 5, you don’t see people sacrificing themselves for others. Halo 5 doesn’t have the same emotion that Halo Reach has. You don’t really have to be strategic on Halo 5. In Halo Reach, one move means the difference between life and death. You also can’t be “revived” by your teammates like Halo 5. I really wish Halo 6 will be more like Halo Reach. Please tell me if you agree with me.
I started on reach and I still think it is one of the best games in halo. Can’t wait for the may(I think) halo 5 update, Remember Reach
Reach was the best Halo for it’s time, but I really enjoy Halo 5.
halo reach is such a fun game
I do think in terms of content at launch (hell even now 5 months in for H5 and we still dont have infection, oddball, race, or any sort of dev made BTB map), diversity of multiplayer maps, story narrative and gameplay, and art direction Halo Reach is a much better game than Halo 5. The few things I can accredit to H5 getting right was the introduction of Blue Team into the games (which still felt underdeveloped as the game never really got into just how close Chief was with them), a more cohesive competive multiplayer (even though there is barely any casual social playlists), and finally the new forge. Halo Reach is the superior game by far imo
Yes. Any HALO made by Bungie is superior to 343i Hollow in all ways.
Just started playing Reach again after getting burnt out on Halo 5’s lack of content. I’ve gotta say, Reach is still fun and enough active players online to use pretty much any multi-player mode. Might not take Reach out until 343 gets 5 to the level it needs to be. The campaign by far also kills 5’s sorry excuse for a story.
Yeah Halo 5 is just an unfinished game and I don’t like the way they’ve took the series. It feels a lot like CoD… Hell, you can even thrust in both games xD. I feel like the pre game cinematic is annoying and pointless, you only play as chief THREE MISSIONS OUT OF LIKE 15 (seriously nobody cares about Locke…) and the campaign was a short 4 hr play. You would also be lost and confused unless you played all of the spartan ops missions from Halo 4 (which I’m pretty sure nobody stuck around to do). Not to mention, all of the trailers that were supposed to set up campaign were NOTHING like the real campaign actually was. This means that 343 are just lying out their -Yoink- and shoveling fools gold at us to buy that when we finally get home we realize it wasn’t what we expected. The worst part of Halo 5 (besides micro transactions) is that there’s no mother #@#$! split screen! Seriously?!? Ughhhhh…
Anyways… I think Halo: Reach was the best halo … It was the final one in my eyes. And personally I think the Master Chief’s story should have ended with Halo 3 as it was Bungie who created and finished his fight. I think it would have been cool to take on another ODST title or another Reach story… I mean Halo 4 had potential but the story was just ruined at that point. I play Halo: Reach anytime I play Xbox. I’m not into all the new titles and I just enjoy Bungie’s Halo. I suck at the new Halo 5. I’m even good at Halo 4. But Halo 5 I just didn’t put in the time or effort to be any good at it. Nor will I ever buy a copy of this game because My brother has it at his house and I tried it and realized I was disappointed before even wasting my money on that game.

Agreed, 343i takes on really big projects and I assume that the advertising campaign was too extreme for a average Halo title. 343i over dramatizised Halo 4-5 especially when using Halo’s past status as a boost with anniversary titles WHILST already mid way through a core game. Many developers make mistakes however Halo 5 is not a game I’d like to play. Returned it the same store trip i bought it from.
