I think that there needs to be a at least 3-4 new maps added into MLG. It seems like I’m doing the same 3 maps all the time. Does anyone one else think there should be some more?

Problem is, they added the dlc maps in, but nobody has them. Yes I think they should add some forge maps like the lockout and onslaught remake.
Yeah that’s what I meant, they definitely need some more community made maps.
Doesn’t MLG control what goes into the playlist themselves?
Firstly: You should post about this on the MLG forums, not here, as 343i doesn’t decide what maps are in that playlist.
Secondly: There is a pretty decent selection of maps in that playlist if you have the Anniversary DLC.
Thirdly: I would like to see some more all new maps put into the playlist. Don’t bring back remakes or maps from past seasons, just brand new maps.
I find that a lot of custom-made maps are terrible. There’s one that always comes up on The Arena and it’s called “Kingdom”. It’s a piece of -Yoink-.
The anniversary maps are insane for this playlist 
I think if time is going to be invested, it should be to implement ranking, maps inherently come with problems (especially in ultra-competitive game-types) but shiny medals for achievement usually dont anger many.
Being as I dont play, that is an opinion of an outsider so dedicated MLG players would have to confirm if this is the case.

True, but it’s all up to the head MLG guys and they don’t seem to care about halo anymore.

Ive seen a thread with comments from some MLG big-wigs saying the only thing holding back ranking is for Bungie/343 to implement it, but yeah I hear ya, it appears MLG and Halo’s relationship might be drawing to a close, kinda sad =/
All of the maps that were in the MLG playlist were great. The two maps from the Anniversary maps are terrible.
Beaver Creek is fantastic for hill Banshee. Penance weapon layout is horrible, and the slow kill times break the map (and any room based map).
The only other ones that could be added are Powerhouse hill (though we only have 2 good hills) and Hang em high (though Reach mechanics dont work well with the map).

That’s wierd because BSangel tweeted that it’s all up to MLG to give them permission to do it. So someone’s lieing

Hmmm…interesting. Do you have a link for the BSangel tweet? I think I may do some searching for that MLG thread.
