It’s won so many titles already and it’s still 104 days from release. I think CoD will beat it in sales but it will slowly fall until Halo is played far more often then BO 2. I’m highly anticipating this resurrection.

I think COD will beat the sales in the first week, but Halo will beat COD in the long run once all the reviews are in. Amazing, even for an exclusive title. Long live Halo.
No matter how well COD does in sales it’s been completely dead since MW2. There’s no way it can get any bigger. The more games it releases, the quicker it kills itself.
I really don’t think it’ll be #1 on Xbox live. There are too many other games, MW3 will still be played a lot, BOps 2, Assassins Creed 3, Borderlands 2, FIFA. I think it’ll be in the top 5 but not 1.
I couldn’t care less which game is played longer.

Halo 4 should sell more than Black Ops 2 on the Xbox 360… Or… There’s no hope for the world.

COD will always out sell Halo, because COD has at lest 3 platforms it sells on, PC, PS3, and Xbox, Halo only sells on Xbox.
Because, a game is only worth playing if it is number 1 on Nelsons blog amiright?
Who cares how much COD sells, Halo 4 will be ranked greatest game of all time! When the reviews get out, 360’s and Halo 4 will be flying off the shelves and PS3 and COD will be flying into Gamestop as trade-ins…

CoD’s community believe no matter what, their game is the best and nothing can ever change that. whether MW3 was terrible or BO2 is a “rip-off” of Halo. they will ignorantly believe Cod is better. they believe CoD made Theater first. they believe CoD came first. they believe CoD is the reason Xbox keeps going strong.
Halo’s community knows what’s good. they know the facts. they’ll admit if one game has a better thing or did something first than/before Halo. they’re interactive. they’re engaging. they’re much better overall than CoD’s. when’s the last time you’ve went to Customs in CoD and it wasn’t Qu1Ck5s0p3s lobby, but was actually other gamemodes just for fun? the community-made playlists/events/lans. but also competitive lobbies/playlists/events.
don’t get me wrong, some of both games’ communities are the other way, but rarely.

Despite the fact you’re right about all that, when was the last time a group of players got together, tested and tried out a new gametype, then came onto the forums to share it with everybody?

In all honesty, I don’t really care how Halo does compared to CoD. If it beats it out, awesome, great news. If not, thats fine, as long as 343i gives us the most amazing Halo game ever made, I will be happy.
