I have to say… it makes me sad to watch gameplay of the new halo beta and think im watching Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare… It literally looks like a halo themed call of duty… 
I don’t like the new Halo MP from what i’ve seen. But as the old saying is you don’t know if you’ll like it if you don’t try it. People will generally push the fact that there’s now balanced starts and that the combat needs to freshen up. But from what i’ve seen the only similarity it shows to the original Halo tiles is that it shares the same name “Halo” I hold no personal dislike to those who like it. But I think halo has shifted more into the mainstream demographic to reach out to other gaming communities mainly such ones like COD who hold a large standing majority of competitive gamers. In Halo 4 I did not spend a large amount of time playing multiplayer due to the fact I personally enjoyed playing Black Ops 2 which was an unexpected treat after MW3. But as for Halo looking similar to COD there are a lot of borrowed ideas and elements. Personally I think the smart zoom above all is the worst element they could of added which 343 stated which do very little to change gameplay yet after watching gameplay footage from early beta I saw a sub machine gun mow down 2 guys in one clip with the other guys wielding assault rifles when the player had aimed down the sights . Thruster packs seem like a foreigner in an arena shooter due to the condensed nature of the maps and really weighs down the effort of having to mesmerise maps in order to make difficult jumps when you can just vault it. But from an initial verdict I can’t imagine myself playing a lot of this game

No it doesn’t not. It plays LIKE HALO, it FEELS like Halo, and its a major evolution of H4. Halo 5 is extremely competitive, fun to play. CoD not so much.
No it plays just like COD. It feels like COD had a DLC and it was H5.
I played it for 2 days and stop. Getting kills was easy compared to Reach and H4, fun kinda but definitely not Halo

I don’t think it looks like COD AT ALL. It feels mostly like Halo 4 with a little Titanfall feel to it in a good way, but I don’t feel COD at all. I am looking forward to BTB which will hopefully be in the full Halo 5 beta. Actually BTB is a MUST in the H5 beta.
When I first read about the gameplay, I hated it. Spartans flying from the air and smashing the ground. Sprinting and charging players for a one hit kill. climbing up ledges. I tried the beta and its pretty good. Feels like halo with “modern” additions. Some may say they’re COD additions. It feels like a continuation of halo 4’s MP. Take that how you will.
I’ve played it. Definitely not anything like Call of Duty.
In fact, when I played CE yesterday I kept thinking of times where I could use my Evade/Thruster to get away from enemies. It’s already in my head.

Dont feels old CoD but AW… A few… I feelt a mix of games, not pure Halo. But is only my feel.
Not only does h5 look like cod, but cod looks a lot better. From someone who has every halo except odst, I’m seriously thinking about skipping 5
It really does play much different than it looks. I was expecting it to be sooo different from the videos I saw.
Of course there are changes to the game. People are so used to faster paced games these days, and it’s only the movement. KT is identical, match times are about the same length.
The McGillotine: Submachine guns are EXTREMELY powerful in close quarters. But that’s it. And if he was scoped in, he clearly was not being shot. Your memory must be fuzzy.

NO not really i played it and op nailed it.if feels like a halo themed cod thats the best description for this game. the sad thing is it can be fixed so easily but they wont. chang is ok but only if its for the better and the worst thing in this game is the pacing sprint thruster and smart scope must be removed. kill times must be longer every weapon feels op i mean these little things can be fixed in a day if not a few hours but 343 dont give a -Yoink-

No. That was Halo 4. If the thruster packs remind you of CoD, Halo did it first.
