So basically just another crappy halo 2 rip off. No, AAs define reach. Halo 3 was just a copy and paste of halo 2, and a sub par one at that. I’m tired of these troll threads, they add nothing to the forums.
People have been complaining about this since the beta. I think that AA’s are a part of what defines reach. If they didn’t add anything new, this game would be the same repetitive copy of Halo 3, just like what CoD does with their games.
The game was made so that MP would rely upon AAs. But if we go with your opinion, it would make it seem that they made something that would be better without AAs.

This was my thought. They added diversity to the game. So it wasnt just strafing all the time, the added a new element to the equation. I like it

Yeah because there was no need to change the way the game was played it played great in HALOS 2 & 3 and would have been much more popular if Reach had none or at least only had them in 1 or 2 playlists.
It splits the players apart SOME like AA’s and SOME hate them – but befor everyone was happy without them .
In the FFA ANNI playlist today where there usually aren’t aa’s and it’s way more fun than normal reach. With beefed up movement rate and jump height there isn’t much need for AA’s. In fact on top of that the games in the anni playlists that do have AA’s such as free for all koth (king of the hill) everyone uses the jetpack. Nevermind sprint or the other ones it’s all flying high to bypass most of the map. Without them you have to run the course of the map. It takes longer but it’s way more satisfying.
yes it would be better. But bad players like AL because when they know they should die they just hit the invincibility button and wait for their friends to come save them. It’s really stupid and game breaking.
When I play Classic anniversary in reach I wreck everyone. Players just don’t know how to play core classic Halo and it’s hilarious. I feel sorry for any player that started in halo reach and never played the previous ones. They are missing out on the real fun.
Thats why everyone FREAKED when Classic Playlist was removed… It was my Favorite Playlist until its removal. Now that they have the Anniversary Map Pack they should reintroduce the Classic Playlist Well 343, Your Move…
