I don’t know why this game got so much hate anyone else enjoy it a lot like me
I enjoy H4. H4 actually brought some great stuff, to bad they were late in H4s life when most already left due to the CODish style and weak xp system. But Dominion is probably the best BTB game type ever made and what warzone really should have been based on for H5… Husky raid probably the best action sack game mode… And ricochet a way better version of Griffball. I still play H4 time to time in MCC, squad battle is probably the best ranked playlist to play.
Halo 4 is a good game with some improvements to the normal formula (like sprinting being always available) but it is different then the previous Halo games. I feel like a lot of the hate for H4 is because it wasn’t bungie and people didn’t like the change, not to say there isn’t valid criticism of the game but while H4 might not be the best Halo game regardless it’s still a good game itself.
I like Halo 4 a lot too. One of my favorite campaigns and the multiplayer is very solid. I really enjoy the new gametypes 343 introduced in 4 like Dominion and Extraction. Personally I’d put it above Halo 3 for me.
I like Halo 4. It is one of my favorite video games. I really like the relationship between Master Chief and Cortana in Halo 4.

I got the same problem with Halo 5. I love it so much that the only real con for me is that there is no splitscreen.
Halo 4’s Campaign is my favourite, without a doubt. I wasn’t that big into the multiplayer back in the day but after having recently gone back and getting all the achievements I found that I liked it.
I don’t love it but Squad Slayer is a major improvement over the base game and is pretty fun. I actually play squad Slayer for the sweat equity challenge to keep my CE rank low in case I need a comp win asap.
Don’t like the campaign but I do have fun with the multiplayer.
I think Halo 4’s multiplayer is slightly underrated, but the use of loadouts instead of an equal start makes the gunplay a little lopsided.

I actually Love Playing Halo 4. There is so much new about it over the past Halo’s. Chance to try new weapons, fight with new type of enemies and so much over those past games but the part where it hurts is seeing the Cortana leaving Master Chief. I literally got emotional on seeing that.
story was messy and somewhat mediocre, multiplayer was bad only in that custom loadouts should have been a game type settings thing like reach instead of something that allowed players to minmax.
gameplay also should have been either H2AMP’s with the features Halo 4 had that weren’t in H2AMP, or literally just what Halo:Online was going for.

It was quite the tear jerker
Halo 4 probably has my second favourite multiplayer, right behind Reach. The multiplayer is just so fast paced with all the chaos of Ordinance and loadouts

People tend to bash on Halo 4 for the fact that it wasn’t made by Bungie, which eventually snowballed into everyone hating the game— even the good parts. I liked the multiplayer and other general gameplay aspects, like being able to sprint without needing an armor ability. Plus, Forge and custom games are much more robust than previous Halo games.
Yes! I love Halo 4. For some reason I don’t care for BTB as much in the other games but I used to play BTB in Halo 4 for hours without getting bored. I loved the personalized loadouts too. Halo 5 was a big letdown for me for various reasons. I still think the OG Halo 4 had the best looking lobby to date. I loved seeing everyone’s Spartans horizontally
Halo 4 is a great game and Spartan ops is a good time waster if you don’t have anything else to do. The knights In the game I still struggle with mentally sometimes but they are pretty easy to fight really.
I’m so so on the multiplayer since I don’t do PvP much but it’s still a ton of fun just like reach
Halo 4 squad battle is where its at man… Loved the Dominion game type since Halo 4 released, probably one of the best game types I’ve ever played on halo. Too bad H4 gets so much hate though 
Top take, I actually like Halo 4’s story.
i enjoyed it but don’t hardly play it anymore im just a reach junkie lol but yeah 4 way better than 5 sorry gotta say it.
