When I went to play Halo 5 on my gold account it said I was offline and it only displayed the solo campaign. So I switched to a free account that I have and when I went to view that account’s carnage report I received a message saying that I was having server issues. Is anyone else experiencing issues similar to this?

Its normally bad on the weekends but it’s Tuesday.
This is the only game I’ve ever seen start out so good with server and connection quality, that has gone backwards and turned to trash.
Bring back region lock lol. It was best then.
I totally agree with SD Demolition, this game came out and it was the best server and conection quality around, now it seems to have gone backwards in a drastic way, i play ffa, team arena, and slayer and the only one i can get on is team arena and i cant always play on that ethier, even the warzone playlist are the same, there’s only warzone firefight i can get on and occasionally warzone, dont get me wrong, i love halo, i always have but untill this issue is sorted and i do mean quickly, if not then i would’nt bother with halo 6.

Set it to focused if you want the region lock version. Btw, the reason they took region lock off was because all the high skilled players like myself in FFA (especially FFA), Slayer, etc. couldn’t find any matches after it was placed. You would just search and search in EU servers and then be told no matches could be found for hours on end. Now I can practice and play around the clock if I want and even then it still takes a while sometimes. So there was no point in playing back then but now I can find matches. I’ll put up with a few server issues if it means I can actually play the game, which are optional if you set your preferences as balanced or focused. Personally I can’t find matches unless I’ve set it to Expanded search on some playlists still (I have fibre it’s not my connection it’s regional preference in server choice).
So my advice, just chance your search preferences if the connection quality is bad.

That’s a great point, but I play a ton of warzone with a group of 12… We’re from all over the country and Canada, and searching focused causes more problems like lag.
I dont know the answer, but the state of the game quality has shifted in a bad way for everyone i play with.
Servers have been mediocre since launch, but as others mentioned, region lock was removed due to the lack of players that Halo 5 has. So yeah the servers are worse than ever now, and I don’t see them getting fixed.
