I just watch my counter and use mind control to attempt to contain my habit of pushing x constantly waiting to re spawn!

I do all the time. I also try to start sprint before I respawn, so it spawns me in home base instead of our garage. I hate it

Yup all the time if the respawn isn’t instant I’m wasting time
I usually use the few seconds to respond to a text or pet the dog. I’ve given up spawning with a Power Weapon so I usually don’t mess with my REQs too much while I wait for the countdown.

LOL my rational mind knows it will not make me respawn any faster, but mash it because I’m frustrated with my last death? Yep, I’ve done that.
Kinda like my wife said to me once about how she angrily mashes the elevator button in her office building knowing full well it won’t make the elevator show up any faster - “It makes me feel better!!”
