I realize that everything is subject to change, so take my criticism with a grain of salt.
I don’t go on these forums much, so if this is a beaten to death topic please excuse me. Anyhow, does anyone else dislike Master Chief’s new armor look? Mainly just the helmet, it just doesn’t look to Master Chief-ey to me.

I like it. Looks much more like Chief would than in that CGI trailer.
Levels above Reach’s Spartan Armor that’s for sure.

I must say I disliked how the armor looked. It looked bulgy and unsymmetrical. Just my opinion on it.
I actually really like the new armor. The more I see of chief’s armor specifically the more I like it. Multiplayer stuff looks a little odd though.
Overall I like it.
I feel like I’m the only one who hated the Halo 2-3 armor for just looking like a body mold instead of actual futuristic armor.
I like it. The in-game shots of the new armor really screamed Master Chief to me. I’m actually more impressed I’m liking the new design as much as I am.
I love the new armour and I love the graphics, I also love the lightning system. So basically, yes I like the new armour.

I think it looks nicer than it did before. I’m still used to the older appearance from Halo 3, but that’ll change as I become more accustomed to this newer appearance.
It is better than H3’s. That said I truely don’t think it looks right. Why, mainly because it doesn’t look very intimidating and it changed way too much. As a matter of fact the gloves, shoulder pads, and helmet look pretty silly. and the feet look like hooves.
I expected them to look more like this.

OP, this is the best Chief design to date.
That is opinion, obviously, but with the designers at 343, it’s only gonna look better when its all finished.
I really dig the new armour. In Halo 3, yeah his armour was cool, but it didn’t feel like I was wearing a supersoldier’s armour. It felt more like a really light, protective shell. This new armour feels more like something a superhuman would be wearing.
