I saw the new Didact figure coming out in Series 2. It looks amazing! I haven’t purchased any of these figures since Halo 2, but I’m considering getting the Knight and the Didact.
What do you think of the new figures?

I have been buying grunts since CE, I have every grunt that’s been released except for the plushie grunt from Halofest. I once bought the elite general just to get his fuel rod cannon for my heavy grunt.
So yes, I collect them.

I have some Halo 1 figures, a few Halo 2 figures, a ton of Halo 3 figures. Some Mega Bloks sets (Pelican, Seraph, Orbital Banshee). As well as a plethora of other Halo related merchandise. Halo calender or sweatband anyone? After seeing how fun the Mega Blok sets were to build I lost interest in the McFarlane figures and focused more on the Mega Bloks. That Didact figure looks sweet though.
I don’t really care for them but somehow I have three of them so far. I have the Master Chief and the red Spartan with the sniper that I got for free from work. I ended up buying the blue Spartan just for the Battle Rifle, and I’ll be getting a Series 2 figure that comes with the DMR.

Yes, I collect Figures and Mega Bloks.
I want an Elite Honor Guard Figure. I’m guessing they’re waiting until Halo 2 Anniversary for the super duper -Yoink!- Elite Honor Guard to be released.
An Infected-Spartan Flood Combat Form Figure and a Jul 'Mdama figure would be nice too.
But I got the Crawler and the Watcher. I saw the Knight a month ago online for preorder, and will definitely get it once I get money. I’ll definitely get the Didact too. Once I have those two, my Promethean collection will be complete. (A Knight Commander Figure has got to look -Yoink!- though!)
For Figures, I have a few Halo 3, a quite a few Halo Reach, a few Halo CEA, and a few Halo 4.
For Mega Bloks, I mostly just got either the $2 packs or the Armory Packs. I got the Flood Dispersal Pod, the Crashed Warthog, and one of the ODST Drop Pods. So, while I don’t have much for Mega Bloks, once I get some money, will definitely get more. (And yes, I definitely have the Elite Honor Guard Mega Blok; Had to have that one! And plan on getting the Specter Mega Blok that comes with the Honor Guard Ultra.)
I’ve been a collector of the Halo figures since McFarlane came out with his (remember that original all plastic bubble packaging?). Didn’t like the previous releases with (NECA?). But I really enjoyed the realistic approach that McFarlane went after with his figures. Not to mention the articulation! My God you could get some REAL legitimate poses that made your spartan look BAD -Yoink-! Accessories like the hyabusa katan and all these other awesome things made it enjoyable. So I collected them for quite some time.
After awhile however, the figures started to look sloppy, bad molds/ bad paint jobs (especially noticeable with the Reach figures). Now I did happen to pick up a Halo 4 master chief, which look meh. But the Promethean Knight? Wow, just wow. Fantastic job. Articulation isnt great but, the colors, the representation and the fact it can hold a watcher? If the Didact is the right height, and if they do him justice like the knight? I will gladly pick it up.
There is one other company out there offering top of the line Halo figures and that’s Square Enix Play Arts Kai. I own all of their Reach figures, as well as the Silver and standard Master chief. They look great, display well and are the BEST representation I have seen of spartans. I understand that Gentle Giant will also be making a Carter figure and am curious how that will translate. Sorry for the long post, but I thoroughly enjoy the Halo figure collecting and look forward to what we will see in the future.

Might get the Didact becasue it looks so cool, but I don’t really have many figures, just a couple.
I tend to collect what ever i can find whether it be Figures,Mega Bloks,and even the Trading Cards they sold a while back
