I just saw the most recent Halo 4 trailer with all the orange goopy AI stuff and I could immediately tell that the franchise had changed hands and been taken in a completely different direction.
It’s not subtle anymore, it’s extremely try-hard and you can pick up a ton of stylistic differences right off the bat. Clearly whoever’s left that worked on the older games is not enough to replicate the original mood of the Halo games.

I think he’s talking about the Prometheans. But I strongly disagree with you, OP. Obviously, a new developer will bring a new direction to a franchise. This one looks quite refreshing and interesing. I for one am intrigued to see where it goes.
