On topic, I host custom game nights like every weekend, sometimes I host em on and off. But I’m definitely looking for people bring into my custom games! 
I get invited time to time for some costem games. There very fun and make the game more enjoyable. ^-^
Here’s the deal with custom games…
Bungie was just not into multiplayer that much. Their focus was on story and campaign. Multiplayer was a back burner issue. Halo fans have not changed since CE. When it came to multiplayer the fans were always complaining: We want this, take that out, change everything to the way I like, etc. You know the drill.
At some point Bungie had had enough. They said, “Fine, if you guys know so much about how a Halo multiplayer game should work, YOU make it. We’re busy.” We got custom games and Forge. We made Rocket Race. We made Grifball. We made all kinds of stuff. It was great.
343i, for some strange reason, has put the brakes on custom games. We have the most sophisticated Halo game to date, yet we have little access to the “good stuff.” One of the longest running threads in this forum is “Custom Games are STILL unacceptable.” I didn’t provide a link because it’s sure to surface again on it’s own.
This demonstrates a fundamental difference between Bungie and 343i. Bungie just said “Have at it!” 343i seems to be concerned that the fans may produce games that are more popular than theirs.
Does anybody play customs still? Yeah, just the one’s 343i will let us play.
