I’m trying to find some friends who like to play FF limited.

Exactly. Somehow they think lives are limited and you have double shields. Annoys me to another level. You do get sick of hearing “Hero” every round.
I find Courtyard or Holdout is the best.
Courtyard: Someone (responsible) grab the Target Locator, the other person runs down that narrow passageway on the landing and grabs the Forklift to block that ramp at the end. With 1 player choosing Drop-Shield(to save players running down for health packs), you can bottleneck the enemies down to take them out. Only TL the heavier enemies or when it becomes very busy. But DMR everything else. A Ultras shield will pop easy with 3 players shooting him.
Same for Holdout. Stay in the Spawn room (more difficult as the bottleneck is shorter) and pop enemies as the door opens.
This was much better on Firefight doubles as you could go in with another player and actually have a challenging experience like ODST delivered, before Bungie catered to the 9 year olds.
yeh if i do play it on courtyard i usually grab the TL and save it for the last wave or for the hunters, we usually stand next to the ammo crate…DMR and PP goes a long way in limited
I always quit firefight limited. Apart from the fact I have a very good K.D in firefight and I dont like to die I dont play it because as I have said many times on this forum and people have also said in this post, I am just sick to death of players thinking they rule in firefight running out and dieing in 2 seconds waisting all the lives and killing only one enemy with the target locator leaving me to take out everything on my own and get yet another hero medal. Or worst case to die one time and its game over.
Thamks but no thanks if I play firefight limited its with my own friends that can finish it and still have lives left over.
I wish i could play it more often but no one votes for it and those that do are newer players who think it’s like some sort of super Arcadefight or something. My last good FF Limited match wasn’t with a full team; It was back when FF dubs (doubles= dubs <3) was still around and i was matched with a competent player who also voted FF Limited. That was a really fun experience and we managed to survive to the bonus round.
Hell I’ve been criticized for voting for it before. I am extremely happy Spartan OPs isn’t going to heavily edited with game options. As much you think that helped FF, it actually put the once great gametype into it’s grave with non challenging Arcade Fight.
Yes. I will drop everything I’m doing for the chance to play Limited again. It was much more challenging and (likely) because of that, it was removed. So once again, people who enjoy challenges are denied in favor of Rocket/Jetpack spammers. If anyone ever wants to play Limited, give me a shout!

I do the same if and when I try limited with randoms. It’s more of a precautionary measure because I know 99.9% of people will grab it and use it on grunts. Get a quick killionaire or two then game over.
