Ok, so me and my company were planning to go into a game of Warzone, right? I go into the Spartan Company part of the friends list to join the game, and I see… This. Under the player’s name, it says AWOL. Now I am fully aware of what AWOL means (Absent Without Official Leave), but I have never seen this tag before. Can someone clarify what this represents? Thanks in advance.

Does it actually represent anything, or is that just what they decided to make their 4 character tag?

The space under a player’s name is reserved to what part of the game they are currently in or accessing. For example, if I were to be playing a game of Firefight on Apex, if you went to my profile in Halo 5 it would say my GT and then something like “Firefight: Raid on Apex 7” or something like that. I have never seen this tag on someone’s profile in the game as far as I’m concerned, so that’s why I’m asking.

It means they playing on a different account while the account you see is signed in.

Gotcha. Thanks for clarifying.
