And any suggestions on how to get rid of it. I tried to reset and it will not go away. Please tell me I don’t have to reinstall the game
It disappears when I open my guide , but reappears when I close the guide.

That’s an Xbox Achievement Tracker. You need to disable it.
Xbox button > navigate to Xbox activity and press the (old) select button.
I think that’s how you did it.
