Does anybody get a Halo 2 vibe from Halo 4?

To me i get a slight Halo 2 feeling when I play Halo 4, it is fast and its crazy and its fun! and some of the maps even have a C.E. feel to it. Does anybody else feel this? oh and if you want to, sighn this, http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/resurrect-halo-2/, worth a try right?

OH GOD THE FANBOYS…THEY’RE COMING

No, I get a Halo Reach feel.

Yeah, it feels like Halo 2 for the most part to me.

To be honest, it’s a mix of H3 and Raech for me.

Mix of Halo 2 and Reach to me…

This.

They just need more big team maps and some assault in there to make it feel like Halo 2.

Doesn’t remind me of H2 because I actually enjoyed H2.

You people are crazy.

Comparing this to Halo 2?

No descoping, recoil when zoomed, random weapon drops, bad maps, instant spawns, ordinances, point system, perks, I could go on forever.

But yeah, feels exactly like Halo 2 :S

This is indeed an odd place to find people who enjoy Halo 4.

Gameplay remind me of reach, graphics are like Halo 3 with a matte finish over all metals.
Ghosts, wraiths and banshees look like they’re covered in latex or rubber, and the armour sometimes looks abit clay like in texture rather than metal.

It feels like Halo 2, Halo 3, and Halo Reach had a menajahtwa and Halo 4 is the result. I’m not complaining. I’m loving Halo 4 so far!

Are you high?

Halo 3 and Reach.

No. Not at all. Halo 2 didn’t have loadouts, AAs, Sprint, Perks, or Specializations. Halo 2 was real Halo. Halo 4 is not.

Having no changes from Halo to Halo would get boring and honestly, there wouldn’t be a point of making Halo games anymore cept for new campaigns.

I welcome change. Halo 3 is still playable, no one is stopping you, I play Halo 3 from time to time as well… so I am sure you can do it too :stuck_out_tongue:

No, the guns themselves feel like Halo 2 but the features like you listed feel like Halo Reach.

It’s a mix, but it just needs to be tuned so we have a more Halo 3 feel to Forge and custom games!

The topic is similarities to halo 2 and he stated the large differences. Halo 3 isn’t as relevant today as Halo 4 is. It’s the whole don’t fix it if it isn’t broken. The majority thought it was fine.

That’s odd, because I do feel that for some reason. I’ve no idea why. I think it might be the music, and the … the sense you get from the surroundings. The plot content as well, seems similar to me for some reason.

Overall I think Halo 4 does have its own feeling unique to it. Halo 3 I thought too lofty and Reach felt too much like an action movie. But Halo 4 has that sense of discovery and exploration that was the hallmark of the first game, as well as a more fleshed out sense of interpersonal relations. It also seems more grounded to me. The plot, the circumstances, all of that.

Are you joking? H2 was the pinnacle of the Halo experience, and this doesnt even come close.
