I say this because of the DLC that the LE was originally supposed to come with. For example for the longest time it was said you were supposed to get Recruit armor and Recruit Prime armor skin. Another example I have is the Specializations. It was said that the LE would have immediate access to all specializations (Once level 50) and now if you play Halo 4 before November 20 anyone can get the early access to them also. http://www.g4tv.com/thefeed/blog/post/726985/halo-4-specializations-detailed-plus-limited-edition-breakdown/ I know I may sound selfish to the rest of the community right now and complaining too much, but we (Limited Edition buyers) were supposed to get these DLC’s and now it seems that the Limited Edition is the same as the standard edition. I do however am greatful that it does come with the War Games Pass and the Forward Unto Dawn (which is great by the way) I just wish or hope that the Limited Edition buyers will get some actual exclusive content later down the road. I would like to hear anybody’s opinions.
The LE is only good if you want the extended FUD. If not might as well just pick up the standard and then season pass separately

It is what it is, for the record the only thing I would have liked for my LE was the recruit armor to stay LE exclusive. That’s all I’m gonna say on this.

and no… I per-ordered it a long time ago, and I feel the same way as I did then… I love Halo, and I love having the special, Limited editions of these games. Allowing people to have something special that we got doesn’t change how I feel about the game.
I care not for silly in-game trinkets, including helmets, skins, and even the DLC pass. I much prefer hardware and lore related materials. So this is still perfect for me

Pretty much this. But it wasn’t all for nothing, 343/microsoft caved and put the helmets/emblem back in the LE map pass
I gotta say I love the physical things in the LE, I’m just disappointed that Microsoft or 343i made Recruit available to everyone. I know specializations were to roll out to everybody sooner or later but the standard edition people pretty much gets it the same time as LEs do.
It is a bunch of crap really. I mean the extended FUD is worth it alone IMO and you do get the map pass for about $10 off (or rather the extended FUD which would normally cost like $20-30+) either way you are saving money if you wanted FUD and the map pass.
Obviously enough it can be said if you don’t like the bonus content don’t get it- but the people who just wanted it for what it is ARE getting jipped IMO.
people shouldn’t buy LE for skins and what not. cause no matter how rare you think your skin is everyone will have them. people thought the same about reach flames. The first week of reach had more flame heads than not lol. most people bought legendary just for the flames now their on ebay for a dollar.
If you do then just get like me: buy the standard with the season pass at a reduced price.
For the Prime AR, free season pass and helmets? I think so. But I’m getting it more for sentimental reasons. Halo 4 marks the rebirth of Halo, and getting the Limited Edition is one of the best ways I can think of to celebrate.
I agree. If the Forward Unto Dawn was not included I probably wouldn’t be getting it anymore.

People are saying they have been seeing them for $20 or less. I searched ebay and the lowest I saw was $80
I actually purchased the LE without knowing what it came with. So it doesn’t hurt me
80 bucks for flames no way, but hey people paid 150 for them in 2010. my buddy gave me his reach statue while we was still at gamestop he just wanted the flames. imo no LE or Legendary edition is worth it.

Same here.
Plus I love the packaging and steel case and the fact it now can go with my LE Halo 2, 3 and reach legendary edition collection. Don’t care about the avatar props and weapon tbh.
what is up with these threads? I swear I see a new one every 10 minutes. You realize some of the LE content was a BONUS they didn’t have to give you the extra content. There giving it anyways and people can’t seem to be happy with what there getting. I myself got the console and LE and havn’t complained once. I accepted the fact whatever I get is BONUS content and free from MS and 343. So please stop these threads and be grateful for what is given to you.

While I completely agree that the return of Halo should be celebrated with a Limited Edition; I just think now that it’s almost pointless because I’m not going to see myself using AR in general with the return of the BR and the Recruit armor was given out to everyone. When I first saw Recruit I loved it instantly and with the fact that it was going to be LE exclusive was awesome. That would have made me very happy to buy the LE because having that armor would be ultimate bragging rights and to me that is what an LE is supposed to have (Bragging rights).

Will LE be available on Nov 6, or was it strictly a pre-order thing? Just wondering if I have a shot at owning it…
I dont care for the armor or skins, im just getting it for the map packs.
