a while back someone wanted to 1v1 a 343 employee and we never got to see that happen. I’m opening this thread so that they have a chance to play with some fans. 343, i would love to play with you guys. not 1v1, thats boring to me, but some team stuff. I would love to be able to have the option to chat with you guys while gaming, even discuss features and situations we encounter with the game and what you think of them, why you implemented stuff, ya know? mostly, i would just like to play with you guys. i know a few ppl online that i play really well with and i’m sure we could give some of you guys a run for your money(at least i HOPE a few of you guys).
so, if anyone from 343 wants to play a fan, with a mic, then seek out D Jackson SG on xbl. same gamertag as my handle here. ruzikkel, if you’re out there, i’m up for playing with ya! anyone else out there that had a hand in the making of halo 4? I wanna play your game with you. i mean, if you guys can’t play with us, or don’t want to, why should we want to play? if you’re all supposedly halo fans then why aren’t we seeing you all over halo 4? do you not like the game?
i’m posting this in halo 4 section cuz i want to play halo 4 with halo 4 creators. this is all about halo 4 and possibly amping up your audience. (mostly i just wanna know if you guys are as good at -Yoink- talking/joke cracking. )
I never got to play against bungie employees, but i would love to play 343. seek me out on XBL, send me a message, let me know its about this, and we’ll have some fun. no -Yoink-, no complaining, hopefully no camping and a whole lot of fun.
I’d be both very impressed and very surprised if this happened. Good luck.
yeah, me too now. we did have one guy that said he was interested and never followed thru. i’m guessing 343’s employees sold their copies of halo 4 and are playing COD Black Ops 2.

Wtf does this even mean? Can she never say anything without it being mysterious or flirty? It’s getting really annoying that we have this person as our community manager.

Lighten up, there is no mystery in that statement, its called humor. Get some.
Play dates are hella fun and I assume when 343 breaks the chains to their desk we will get a few. Every one that I have attended has been a blast.

She does that to lighten the mood. While she doesn’t just plainly say it, it is still understandable what she wrote. I would rather have her as our Community Manager than some uptight, plain as paper person writing the blogs.
Plus she has jazz hands
I can appreciate a joke sometimes. However, when a huge percentage of your community is complaining all the time about features that have been taken out of the game (much more than any other Halo game, even Reach), you should tone down the jokes to 95% of the time instead of 100% of the time to make it seem like you actually care a bit about the game and that everything is not a huge joke or an attempt to be hot and cool.
You can tell me to relax if you want. I think I have a good sense of humor. I think bsangel does not.
Having employees playing with us would be cool and all but talking about things we would like fixed in halo is pointless. They would hear the same thing every game. Either “Good job, just ignore the wining children” or “You guys screwed up so bad, here is why and how…”. To the first would be thank you (pointless false hope, we can go into that if someone really wants). To the second the response would be “We can’t discuss any details of future updates”.
So in the end I think it would be pointless.
any input is useful in developing future titles. you can’t hand craft a game for everyone, but i’m sure they’ve heard some interesting ideas on the forums. i’ve seen some interesting stuff. i like the halo 2 and 3 experience, so i’m not real into the aa’s and stuff, but i have seen some good ideas as far as things you could do with em. i guess they’ll probably keep a lot of the new stuff, but if they’re going to have it they may as well, pack it full of content and options. you can get some interesting info and ideas here…
i like a sense of humor. jokes are good.
OP, you have a most excellent GT. Saw an SG-1 panel recently.

It wouldn’t surprise me if they were playing other games, such as Black Ops 2. After working on a game for 3+ years, you tend to have played a LOT of it in testing, so you kind of want to go out and play something different during your free time.
