Does 343 listen to the fan base?

Alright so now that im more calm I can finally make an article without throwing my frustration into sentences.

For YEARS, Halo infinite forums have been buzzing with post, after post, of what we want as fans. The fan base was split on sprint, but Im pretty sure, after reading these posts and talking to hundreds of other people about it today, that more people do not like sprint than do like it. And if 343 listens to any of their fan base, they will see that the community wanted a real halo game. No clamber, no sprinting, no generic weapons that look like destiny rip offs. And they have failed to deliver after 5 LONG YEARS of developing. (not to mention the graphics look absolutely terrible lol) Also that brute cutscene was one of the worst things I have ever seen.

So my real question is as stated above. Does 343 listen to fans? Do they understand that 75 percent of the community is absolutely disgusted with what they just showed us?
We have been preaching about this for years and they still just dont give a Yoink.

I don’t think it would very healthy for them to actually read the forums. When people are passionate about something they tend to be pretty harsh and all this negativity would wear them down.

Whats the purpose of the forums then if they do not listen to what we have to say about literally anything.

They probably listen to us, but clearly after seeing the infinite demo it’s obvious they just dismiss most criticisms

So we have a place to go to meet other like minded halo fans and talk about or play the game. I mean your welcome to throw up some constructive criticism, but odds are that only the jannies will see it.

Idk. I think you’d find that it’s probably closer to half and half on sprint. I’m personally fine with it. It appears to be slowed down compared to 5. Ground Pound, Shoulder Charge, and all that appear to be gone which I think is good and a fair compromise. I feel if you remove sprint, the game feels way too slow. Even on MCC when I play 2 or 3, I find myself saying, “God this game is so slow.” I think the pacing is right in my opinion.
The weapons showed some promise and diversity if you ask me.
What killed it for me was the overall lack of polish compared to the intro trailer, last year’s Discover Hope, and the Slip Space demo. They honey dicked us hard. That end cutscene with the Brute was laughable. There are other things. That Phantom was bad. It was clearly flying on rails and didn’t move as you’d expect a flying vehicle to. The colors were so saturated, it felt like a cartoon. There wasn’t (and not going to be) any ray tracing until after launch. There were no particle effects. I think the polish of the game needs to be turned way up cause I didn’t think the core gameplay was that bad.
