There aren’t even new leaks of anything yet. We haven’t seen anything new since August/September 2021 leaks, besides a bit of Forge. Not a single thing. As far as I’m concerned, there will be another Battle Pass with the Lone Wolves armor they showed, and a Fracture like Tenrai, with the Iron Eagle armor most likely. There was a ton of content that should’ve released around Christmas and Tenrai already that we still haven’t even seen in the shop, but the files are in the game, proven by modders on YouTube I keep seeing videos of. 343 is just sitting on a pile of premade content and waiting to delay release each bit.
No idea why 343 is milking and delaying content so much, other than because there is no content for Season 3, so they’re doing their best to save what they have for later. There’s no roadmap for Season 2 events like Winter Contingency, Cyber Showdown, and Tac Ops, that we also knew about last year. We’re still sitting in the dark waiting for anything at all to finally happen publicly.
Don’t get your hopes up. They delayed Season 2 for 3 months, they delayed Co-op, they’ll probably delay Season 3 for 3 months, and delay Forge for December. Instead of 4 Seasons per year, expect 2 per year, and almost no content in between besides the shop.

The only big surprise they have in S2 is disappointment.
They’ve already said it’s just 2 maps. They’ve already said they will not be fixing their awful skill based matchmaking implementation and its correspondingly bad ranked mode and overly sweaty social modes. They’ve already defended their industry-worst netcode. They’ve defended their inept failure of an anti-cheat. They’ve defended their horrendous customization systems.
Best case for S2 is that the battle pass is improved, they add a couple new playlists, and they improve the challenge/progression system.

Well it will be a “Very Big Surprise” for me if they fixed the Custom Games Area with and it came with a Custom Game Browser. Now that would be a big surprise!

False, a lot of the maps have parts that are blocked with forge-like objects, yet are fully detailed.
This leads me to believe they are blocked off and will be opened up for Infection
They’d better. Not because I would do anything stupid, but because they really should for the sake of their public relations and the health of their game.

Definitely one of the less sweaty modes imo.
Yeah, the better player will probably win but you can still have a crapton of fun without winning

I promise I know you think you want infection and griffball but just take a second and think about what those game types would actually play like with desync the way it is? We all want the core gametypes that have helped to define the franchise, but not like this.

its depressing but with the takeaways being about UI and other nonsense and not the missing core of the game it doesnt even matter. Could drop all that, and ill still be done after 3 games for the week cause the weekly reward was junk and I should have gotten a kill but instead phase shifted over the wall and down 10 feet into the open killzone below. Stuff like forge, coop caimpaign, firefight its hard to believe they wont be released very strategically as approval/numbers dip consistently once they admit season2 started already. It makes it hard to dream about things like forgable firefight, even though the potential is there.

I don’t get desync when I play custom games with friends, which is where I would be playing it with since the MM is still crap.
So no, your point is mute and I do want Infection and Grifball.
