I stayed up and watched the 343i gang hype MCC, the next Halo TV special, Halo 5 beta etc…
Now, I quite frankly do not want to see their faces on stage at E3.
I am sure that they are nice people, but they oversold the -Yoink- out of Halo products and simply have not delivered. I don’t want them to hype up Halo 5. They just need to show the trailer and move on to the next game in the presentation. I don’t need to hear 1080p this, or 60fps that, or dedicated servers, or whatever they think is going to sell us on the game.
At this point, the only thing that is going to sell us on Halo 5 is the game itself. I am not telling anyone else what to do or think. I am just saying that this is where I am at this moment.
What do you thing? How do you want Halo @E3 2015 to go?
A Halo trailer will play, leading right into a campaign demo. Bonnie will come out and talk about the new things coming to Halo 5: Guardians, and then they’ll show a multiplayer demo of one of their new multiplayer modes. Then there going to end their presentation with a trailer from the Spielberg show and talk about that too.

Thanks annon, I had to ponder for days to come up with that.

Unless E3 is going to be made up entirely of Halowaypoint members, there’s no way in hell that would happen since most people actually like sprint (and don’t mind ADS afaik).
Welcome to the forums, where people want game devs fired and publicly embarrassed in front of thousands in person and on live TV because a game didn’t match their expectations and desires.

I’m sure 343 will arrive at E3 in a pimped out stretch hummer purchased with bonuses from MCC pre-order sales. Riots will ensue as angry “true” Halo fans throw cans of Mt Dew and Taco Bell smothered burritos at the hummer. There will be thousands of signs reading things like “We are the 11%” and “Remember the 14 Day Buy & Play.”

Keep telling yourself that as h5 rockets down the xbl activity charts like h4 did.

As of right now, the only people who didn’t like halo 5 are the “true fans” or whatever stupid names they give themselves. It was 4v4 arena that focused on map control and teamwork, weapon placement on maps instead of ordinance, no loadouts, equal playing field and one of the most balanced multiplayer I’ve played in a while. The purists say that it’s terrible because it isn’t halo 3. “Sprint and ads kill the game,” no it doesn’t. “It plays just like CoD AW,” no it doesn’t. I’ve played both and they’re extremely different in many aspects. Halo 4 was a mistake but that’s because it took ideas from reach. Armor abilities and loadouts are a prime example. Halo 4 suffered from an identity crisis
On the subject of booing, if the makers of CoD can to up evert year and getting applause, I doubt 343i will get booed. If they did, the booing would be shushed by people who are actually trying to listen and don’t want halo to fail and be known as the game with a childish community.
I want to see campaign. I want to see the results if the tweaks.

More like the game did not match it’s ADVERTISING.
Don’t get me wrong, Halo 5 could be amazing. However, I am tired of 343i’s attempts to make Halo this multimedia juggernaut and insert them in the narrative.
I am still not sure why Frankie is a avatar in MCC.
Still not sure why Kiki is an executive producer in Halo: Nightfall.
So yes, no more grand proclamations on stage and come back with a produce that is a good game.

Expecting a $60 game to work at launch is too much now-a-days, isn’t it.
I guess it’s too much to ask that the game work 3 months later also.

So lets see, they said 1080p 60fps, dedicated servers, all 4 master chief games on one console using all their original engines. Don’t remember them ever saying “the multiplayer works like a dream, there is nothing wrong with this game!” So by the logic of your statement it didn’t match its advertisement, but it did. So because the game had server problems and had issues we should fire all of 343’s employees. And the CoD community is the childish ones.

The game works. If you’re not getting matches then something is wrong on your end. Games take longer than 10 seconds to be generated. It takes no longer than 2 minutes at the most.
