Do you want to get better at Halo 5?

Okay, so I will go right ahead and admit this is a bit of a plug…but also a very genuine question.

Me and a friend have recently started a Youtube Channel doing a variety of Halo 5 videos. Something we really want to do, but haven’t done just yet, is videos to help people play better.

So the question I want to ask is this: You open up your youtube sub-box, you’re interested in learning more/playing better, so what is it you want to know and what kind of videos do you want to see?

For me personally, I just love to watch people who are better than me. Just watching raw gameplay of Pro’s, for example, I can learn from and enjoy watching. However from my perspective I don’t think there’s a great deal of high quality “tips” videos that actually really help and aren’t overly generic.

But what about you guys? What is it you want to know and what kind of videos do you want to see in your sub box?

Trick jump videos are always a plus

As in, jumps that have a genuinely helpful in game use?

Thanks dude! Any type of content you would like to see us do, also what do you think of our channel overall, we are always looking to improve!

grenades i find are hard to use, if you can show people how to use them it would be great

Hey man, can you be more specific? Like all types of grenades? Any specific situations? Any uses of grenades you see other people do that you don’t really understand?

thanks

No worries dude, let us know what you think of the channel!

I think if I look at a pro video and after watching it, it makes me want to immediately pop in the game and start playing, it’s a successful video. And I think to have that, the gameplay needs to be exciting but it also needs to look so good, it looks easy. But like you say OP, I think including this with tips and breakdowns of certain gameplay moments would be really nice to have.

And I think to have them not be so generic, would be to give these tips but also making it interesting and entertaining. Not as much teaching but really letting the audience in on a new strategy like you would tell a close friend or clan member. Maybe throw some topical humor from current memes and other bits of funny Halo stuff to spice it up as well, again keeping it casual like telling a joke to a friend.

But what could really be interesting is tell it in more of a narrative structure. Like to have a linking story of two guys trying to make the other a pro at Halo (as an example). Essentially if you guys are planning to do a series of how to videos, to keep the audience watching from video to video and with a side story weaving it all together. I think in this way, it will make what you are doing extremely unique.

Excited to see what you guys do with it!

Thanks for the reply man, much appreciated  We just really want to make videos that people enjoy watching, and feel that videos to help people get better are few and far between on youtube for Halo.
