The way the GI article was worded, it felt to me that the only cutscene we get each week is a CG one. It would actually be hard to also make in-engine cutscenes for each of the 5 little missions.

You ARE your own Spartan in Spartan Ops.

The ongoing story features your Multiplayer Spartan IV, and the loadouts you unlock in Multiplayer are the ones you have access to in the SO campaign. You play as yourself.

The combination of Spartan Ops and Multiplayer is basically Halo Reach in the way that you use the same armor.

Depends on what exactly Spartan Ops is. If the missions are story intensive, hell no. If they’re just a ripoff of spec ops and are just glorified mini games…couldn’t hurt. I get the feeling we will be seeing both within.

I want Chief in Spartan Op missions, I want Buck in Spartan Ops missions, I don’t really want [insert gamertag].

Its most likely going to be story intensive. I remember reading somewhere that the story in spartan ops will similar in scope to the campaign.

OT: I would prefer play as myself. Its what made Reach’s campaign stick out to me (its the only one where I actually got attached to the main character, especially during lone wolf). Playing as the Chief or who ever in Spartan Ops would just make it seem like its over doing the whole chief thing. I understand he’s back but does he HAVE to be the one doing EVERYTHING?
