^ Title pretty much sums it up. 343i has confirmed they’ll be no Elites in matchmaking, meaning you can’t play as an Elite. So, do you think this is right? Do you care? Or do you disagree? Vote.

I don’t care that much … I just want to play as Elite in Custom Games and if there could be an Invasion mode in Halo 4 it would be awesome because it’s the best game mode I ever played on Halo

I chose neutral. I still want them to be playable but the multiplayer has a story now and it just wouldn’t make sense that an elite is jumping around in a spartan training program.

I can’t see why 343 can’t simply add in Elites… surely it’s not too much hassle to copy-paste in the character models? They can always say they’re used to better simulate Covenant attacks if they’re worried about canon.

Did they confirm matchmaking as a whole? As far as I know, it’s just competitive. I liked playing as Elites in the previous Halos, so I wouldn’t mind them returning.

Yeah, me too. I don’t mind the spartans having more customization as long as there is still some pretty memorable armors for the elites, IF they are playable (looks at 343 with suggestive eye-brow raise).

I truthfully don’t want elites in multiplayer unless if it’s for certain game types like in reach. I remember in Halo 3 how every time I tried to play Team Swat, and the entire enemy team would be elites. So when I would start besting them, they could just turn around and take close to seven shots in the back without dying. The only way I would be for it is if they changed the model and raised the head above the shoulders so when they turn to run I still have an equal chance to get a head shot on them.

3million+ people at the moment are raging at the leak. Elites dont need to be in matchmaking because due to Bungie’s previous choice for reach has forced the Sangheili community to adapt to playing custom games only. They are an essential piece to halo’s playable existance ever since halo 2 since back then it drew wonder upon people to be able to take a break from being human for a short time while playing video games and just be an alien for once. A good switch up. I do not ask that they return to matchmaking, I just dearly plead that they make a return not only to campaign, but also to custom games. For the good of the Sangheili Community, and the Machinima Community.

I honestly think the only thing getting in their way is cannon. Which is not a good sign. Multiplayer should never be dumbed down for the sake of cannon. Doesn’t matter much to me, however, as I prefer Spartans.

Elites are a crucial part of the Halo universe. Not only is being able to play as an Elite in matchmaking, custom games, forge, etc important to people making machinima (as I plan to do so myself) or who are in all Elite clans, but it is also important to the people who just like the race/how they look. I think it adds an important diversity to how the game is played. PLEASE 343!!! BRING THEM BACK TO LIFE!!! Also, I’m not just saying this because I like Elites, I love both races equally the same. But I think it would disappoint the fans a little and damage the Halo fanbase if they were ridden of.

no. i never liked playing as them. there still gonna be in the campaign, so it’s not going to be that big of an issue.

I want elites, but it would not be a deal breaker for me if they weren’t in the game.

I really do want the elites to return. I think 343 could pull it off if they wanted to. They could even fit into the story. The elites and the UNSC had an alliance at the end of halo 3 so they could just be training along the spartans. I really hope 343 notices how much people want the elites back and fixes it. It would definitely make me more excited for Halo 4.

Elites are in the story. at least from the images I have seen. Now,for the good of everybody they must simply step it up, have them playable in customs or even a division of spartan ops or something,anything.

I joined xbox live for halo, I joined halo for elites. Please 343, dont make me find a new series… Ive been in it ever since halo 2
