Simple question right?
I don’t mind them but some need to be left behind like Camo, Jetpack and Pro-Vision.
Sound off below and remember KEEP IT CLEAN!

As long as they’re balanced and work well in Campaign
Equipment is the way to go in my opinion.
Not as they are, no, but if they become something with respect for the ‘traditional’ gameplay, they can work, similarly to Equipment in Halo 3. Placing them on map, giving a limited usage (depending on AA, between number of deployments or seconds of use), and balancing them properly to not stall gameplay (Active Camo promotes camping, Hardlight Shield prolongs encounters without changing the result in most situations).
The world isn’t all black and white. There aren’t only absolutes to choose from. The abilities that AAs allow are useful, but the methods of application and use are where more problems arise.
343 needs to make AA promote teamwork. Currently AA are made to personalize playing styles which makes gameplay feel more one-on-one, and less intense.
What GHOST of MA1NE said.
I would like to see AAs in the next Halo but in case of multiplayer only if they are properly balanced and are not negatively affecting the gameplay.
I think they can add a nice variety in game and team play.
The problem I had with equipment was that I often had not the chance to actual use it or the right moment to use it did not appear, so in many cases it was just useless.
Anyway, you should not be able to spam AAs like you can in Halo 4, there should still be some tactical use and thought behind it.
I think that they should stay in the game, but we don’t want anything like armour lock. That was horrible unless used to destroy an enemy vehicle heading towards you.
What JJAB91 said.
Yes, but only the more minor ones (Thruster Pack, Hologram, etc.) should be in Loadouts. The more powerful/map-breaking ones (Jet Pack, Active Camo- which should be completely altered btw, etc.) should be map pickups, kind of like power weapons. Let’s call them PAAs.
AAs like Autoturret and Thruster Pack? Sure, but why not make them limited on-map pickups? They don’t really change the game all that much, but having them as pickups like in Halo 3 would allow them to be a bit stronger and useful, but requiring teamwork to acquire. This way, we could also have AAs like Drop Shield return, since they are more team-based.
Jetpack and Promethean Vision? No, definitely not. Jetpack has always ruined the flow of maps, and does not need to return at all. Even as a map pickup, it would not work well the way it is now. If it was a quick vertical double jump, then sure, that wouldn’t be quite so bad. As for Promethean Vision? No amount of changes can make this thing balanced. Seeing through walls is never a good ability to give to the players. Ever.
Active Camo should stop being an AA as well, and return to the powerup alongside Overshield and Damage Boost. These should all appear on the map as well and need to be fought over. Let’s bring back the strategic value to Halo, shall we?
Yes.
I rather enjoy AA’s and they help keep Halo separate from other shooters.
No, No, NO.
I prefer to see Equipment return instead of AA.
And all current AA to be new Equipment.
Active Camo needs to be removed from both choices and be a Powerup again.
And changes to Jet Pack.
If AA return, then Jet Pack needs to have shooting disabled when in use. But if Equipment returns and Jet Pack is an option it can remain the same, but you have 10 - 15 seconds of fuel and it is then depleted.

A agree with “GHOST of MA1NE” and strongly believe AA should return as evolved Equipment. And be located on maps.
This would help return Halo to an Arena Shooter. Which has long been missed.
Yes, but only if they are map pickups.

I’ve been saying it since well before Halo 4’s release, AAs should of been exactly like what’s stated by Ghost of ma1ne, had they been like that from the get go, I bet full heartedly that Halo fans would of been more likely to love them, rather than hate them like they do now.
Making AAs pickups with limited use is a MUST have for halo 5.
