Do you want a Halo 4 Spinoff Game?

Do you want a Halo 4 Spinoff Game that uses Halo 4’s multiplayer? For example, Halo 3: ODST uses Halo 3’s multiplayer and Combat Evolved Anniversary uses Reach’s multiplayer. Do you want a Halo game that will use Halo 4’s multiplayer?

Maybe not, as we already have Spec Ops. I’m pretty sure they stop releasing Spec Ops episodes at some point so maybe we can have a game that’s almost like a Spec Ops mission pack. Just an idea.

a RPG spin off would be cool like ME or Fallout.

That’s what spartan ops pretty much is, maybe a halo wars 2?

I would buy a spartan ops game.

Sure, an ODST 2 with Firefight 3.0 and new extra Spartan Ops missions would be a nice addition, or something similar

I vote for using the Halo 4 engine to remake Halo 2… but that’s just me.

If Halo 2 gets remade in HD then it may have Halo 4 multiplayer.

ODST did not use Halo 3’s multiplayer at all. o___O

And no, just make Halo 3: ODST 2. Or go the Modern Warfare route and just call it ODST 2.

And don’t -Yoink- it up, for the love of God. ODST was the best campaign of all the Halos, without a doubt. (Yes, oldtimers. I said it. Get at me.) If something sub-par comes out that “tarnishes” the name of ODST and how amazing the first one was… I’ll be mad.

Honestly, I’d like a Marines PoV of Harvest

This has been a theory of mine since I saw the 11th terminal.

Only if done by another studio. I feel that splitting the team for ODST/Reach may have been one of the reasons why the Reach campaign wasn’t exactly… “stunning”.

Im hope HALO 4 will be just fine so no need for another game.

As long as a spinoff doesn’t detract from the main games, I’m sure it can’t hurt to have more spinoffs. The problem is that 343 will probably have to get another studio to develop spinoffs so as not to divide time between Halo 5 and the spinoff, and to give the spinoff a proper development time length.

I’d personally like any spinoffs to have a proper 3-year development period. I’d also personally like to see a single-player focused campaign with a mix of scripted set pieces and open world sandbox play, with a very long campaign (Halo campaigns have always been too short). Maybe it will use the Halo 4 engine, but implement things 343 did not, like dual-wielding or an improved melee system, or first-person driving.

Did you just call Halo CEA a spinoff of Halo Reach? Nah just playing.

OT: Halo Wars 2. Do it 343i…you won’t.

I’m more concerned with Halo 4, 5 and 6. Mostly 4 and maybe 5 because by the time 6 comes out, I’m going to be in my 30’s and judging by the fact that I barely have time for games in my 50 hour work weeks right now, I can’t imagine how busy I’m going to be when me and my lady start poppin kids out lol

Anyway, e3 is only a few hours away, can’t wait to see what they got in store.

Maybe they could get Certain Affinity and Saber to make Halo 2 for a 2014 launch.

It would have maps for Halo 4’s multiplayer.
But the Campaign would use more Halo 3 game models than Halo 4 models, so that it is not so jarring to go from CEA to 2A then back to 3’s graphics.

But if they started working on it now, CA and S wwill have 2 years to get Halo 2 looking great, rather than the 1 year they had for CE.

what about a covenant spin-off, from the arbiter or another elites point of view that would tie in with 5 or 6.

another odst game using halo 4’s multiplayer would be cool

i dont mind a Halo wars 2 or a halo rpg with armor abilities, Lol the mmorpg/shooter would be something akin to say, oh, borderlands? but with an autosentry instead of the commando’s turret haha

Halo 4: Shadow Team

Play as Shadow Team during the same time period as Spartan Ops. You get to see how Shadow Team single-handedly constructed Galileo base, blew up the entire Covenant fleet, killed the Didact when he was revived again, saved Earth, put down the Insurrection, piloted the Infinity through a firefight with the Forerunner fleet, exterminated the Flood, destroyed the Halos, and prevented a Precursor from destroying the Ark. Oh yeah, and this is all in the first episode, while Crimson Team is messing around and doing petty stuff on Requiem.
