Do YOU Want A Covenant Campaign

WELL DO YOU

Can you elaborate further? I’m still confused on what you mean by a “Covenant Campaign”

Do you mean playing as Jul’s Covenant, or playing as the Arbiter’s Loyalists? There are so many different forms of the Covenant, and I barely scratched the surface with my two responses.

I enjoyed how Halo 2 fleshed out the Covenant and gave them personality. The branding of Thel and his appointment as the arbiter kind of made you feel like the covenant existed outside of the battlefield… before you ever play as the arbiter.

I really liked the fiction, but I also didn’t like the Arbiter levels or that the story ended up being two prong. I would prefer to have a Chief centric campaign that puts him in situations where you could depict Sanghelios and elite culture.

Perhaps as a SPOPS season. Or the Campaign could take a Halo 2 approach.

Yes, switch between an Elite and a Spartan just like in Halo 2.

Yes bring back the arbiter. Or maybe try something else like be a brute and have like a prophet led splinter faction that is against the Didact. I think it would be interesting to be able to fight UNSC in a campaign.

How 'bout we either switch between Arby’s adventures on Sanghelios and Chief’s adventures on… Or we have two separate Campaigns. I just want a longer story (:

Or we get to play as the Didact and his ( should be) hard time getting back to Chief. Think of it we get to play as the Didact for maybe a few missions. It would be awesome( feels like being a jedi!). With an arsenal of Promethean weapons and his powers, and ability to call upon Prometheans.

That would be badass, like a few prologue missions were you’re the Didact in the Human/Forerunner wars and you fight humans and flood with Prometheans by yourside. So many awesome possibilities.

Bungie missed a big point in Halo Reach and ODST without having an Elite campaign.

It would of been cool to play as an Elite during the beginning of Great Schism, i mean right as it happened. We saw many dead elites and it would been awesome to play as one in ODST.

Reach Elite Campaign would of been better, being the one to give the order to glass a planet. Be there killing Spartans punishing brutes who disobey you ordering where to put your troops and what areas to abandon. Really big opportunity missed if you ask me and the samething with Halo 4.

343i missed another chance to introduce and Elite badass. Halo 4’s story was far to contusion if you ask me. The first 4 missions was all one long mission strung together. It would of been good to have some separation, i had high hopes oh Halo 4 having a Sangheili story especially with the first terminal released showing Jul and his crew.

I say Elite Campaign for sure without it the story would be stale and just MC and his weird relationship with an A.I. and we all know that is blown out of proportion. Support the Elites not demonize them…because we love you too.

Not everyone likes vanilla all the time.

I want the elites to make a comeback. I wouldn’t mind Thel 'Vadam being a playable character again. I would love to see the Covenant homeworlds. If the only way to have that is through a UNSC campaign and a “COvenant” campaign, so be it. I think having the Master Chief, some of his friends, and the Loyalists as one party of a three way struggle between them, ONI, and the Didact and his Storm followers would be far more interesting, but I’ll take what I can get.

The new Xbox One will bring innovative and new ways to game. The next halo game now dubbed Halo 5 will feature the Master Chief and we all know how far the Xbox 360 graphics engine and the sound effects were pushed to their limits. For Halo 4 to run top graphics it had two discs, well here is my idea. So Halo 5 assuming it will be better then Halo 4, will definitely have great design criteria and sound innovations giving Halo 5 body and strength. But for this to happen Halo 5 would need to be released in 2015 or have no multiplayer till the next year.

Would certainly be interesting. Perhaps Thel could sneak aboard Jul’s ship in an attempt to free Catherine. An awesome Covenant v. Covenant level which has you make your way deep into the ship, free the prisoner, and all that stuff. I’m getting way too excited by that idea

Why would he do that?

it would definitely clear up some of the things Halo 4 left out about the covenant. I think a dual campaign would be awesome! Although, knowing Microsoft it will most likely be DLC that will cost a lot!

Thel seems to be more concerned in peace talks than infiltrating a Splinter-faction ship to recover a human prisoner, and I don’t think ONI would be too happy about that…

I’d rather play as someone else besides the Arbiter, he’s been transformed into a throne-sitting couch-potato and seems to be a shadow of his former self. It’s hard to respect Thel after he cowered into his keep and called Infinity for help… And who would have thought, now he needs Infinity to “escort” him to Dosiac so that he can arrange “peace” with the Brutes.

As long as it intertwines appropriately with chief’s story and makes sense to be there in the context of the larger plot.

No. I don’t. I want a full campaign on Chief, and bring Thorne, Jun and Halsey into the mix more. Lasky too. Not interested in the Storm.

Arbiter hunting down Jul’mdama?? Then i vote hell yeah!

I hope those two unite to be honest.
