I use the motion tracker A TON. It’s basically my second set of eyes. I can usually notice someone trying to come in from the side or behind me if they aren’t in my field of vision but are visible on the motion tracker. It seems, though, that players generally don’t pay much attention to it. I could chase someone for what seems like 3-4 minutes and not once do they turn around. And I don’t mean I expect them to be looking at the motion tracker when they are deep in a firefight with another player, that’s understandable.
What about you? Do you guys ever use the motion tracker? And how often do you use it? (Btw your answer can apply to any Halo, as long as it has a motion tracker.)
If I’m in an intense battle I can’t always keep my eyes trained. But I use it 99% of the time.
Not enough because I suck
I used to use it a lot in the older Halo games, because it had a good radius for detecting hostiles. But not anymore in Halo 5, because its radius is too short now, so I treat every game type that has the motion sensor as a variant of SWAT. Basically a lot more defensive gameplay.
I would say I use it more as a defensive aid than for attack purposes.
I use it all the time, but I have a buddy who is MUCH better than me and he hasn’t used it since he started playing in H2.
Idk how someone could play without using it. I like that it has a shorter range in H5. I think it increases the skill gap this way.
I use it all the time. It’s Great way to see around corners.
I only use it when doing warzone with motion tracker mod but do use it in arena but only when being stealthy.

One eye on the tracker, one on the enemy. I admit, the 18 meter range has crippled it’s effectiveness, but I still use the thing.
Especially when crouching around… yes, it’s very helpful.
I always use the radar, its good if you know how to use it to your advantage
I use the radar tracker all the time to let me know when to throw nades around a corner, plus it’s useful increased when trying to find the last person in a base in Warzone. For those that don’t do this already, try turning on advanced sensors armor mod for the following situations: when defending core to tell which stairs they are rushing from to give ample reaction time and using any tanks/wraiths for increased awareness to spot boarders.
I use it immediatly before and after a firefight and when things are quiet. The radar is very short but not entirely useless, more than once has it saved my -Yoink- from a blindside Spartan Charge.

yes and no, in combat definitely…when training my teams…no, I want them to learn to improve their 6th senses, lol
I use it a ton. But now that the radius has been decreased, I use it less then I did in the previous Halo’s. But in the really small maps, I have my eyes on it quite a bit.
