I trust 343i, yet I dont trust Microsoft…quite a conundrum isnt it lol
New Company, New title, new set of rules Hard to trust so easily.
On the multiplayer front? Yes.
On the Halo fiction and canon area? Not yet.
Can’t really say yet. After we get Halo 4 we will have a better judgement.
I trusted them when I first found out about who their employees are. They are all Halo fans and they come from Bungie, Rare, Nintendo, Sony, all sorts of companies. They quit their jobs to join 343 to help make Halo 4. I trust them because they are more of a fan than most of us. Now whether or not that trust is well placed, we will see on the 6th.

Thing is, if push comes to shove 343I will have to do what Microsoft says.
I’ll tell you after I’ve completed 4’s campaign…
MP wise, yes.
Multiplayer: Yes
Campaign: Sure, why not?
Machinima: OH HELL YES!
Multiplayer wise, yes.
Story/cannon wise, not sure.

Thats my point, unlike Bungie who worked for Microsoft, 343i was made by Microsoft for the sole purpose of making Halo. 343i is not its own company, they are a division of Microsoft…so i trust the people of 343i who want to make a good Halo trilogy, but I dont trust Microsoft…again quite a conundrum lol
Time will tell

I will admit I saw the prologue and that 3 minutes blew me away, I think campaign is in great hands. I’m more sketchy about the MP just because Reach didn’t pick up where Halo 3 left off. After playing Reach more in the last month I’m becoming more certain that the MP failed because of the lack of maps. Forge maps just don’t do it for me.
I kinda trust them in multiplayer. At least they said that the majority of stuff can be reversed or changed to make things be more consistant.
Campaign-wise, I’ll have to play it. But I don’t think it’ll be that hard to do better than the Reach campaign.
Yes, I certainly do. I respect the care they’re giving to the story so far from what we can see. While I have my fair share of complaints about small details in this game, the bigger picture looks fantastic from what we’ve seen so far. The campaign looks fantastic. As far as multiplayer goes, looks like a Halo 3/Reach hybrid. Neither good nor bad, I don’t really play multiplayer that much.
Plus I can’t express how happy I am about Spartan Ops.
Yes, I do trust 343i, although there are several things that I don’t think I will like in H4 (the whole CTF change being one of them), I am willing to give 343i the benefit of the doubt on those things.
So much about H4 looks so good that you almost have to. I will make a full judgement after the game comes out.
One important point is that if 343 haven’t fixed the completely broken Halo Reach trueskill system, by implementing a proper one then I will be sorely disappointed, and may be reluctant to trust them on the next game. i.e demanding to know about the ranking system well before release, because a Reach 2.0 system is not going to cut it.
after playing Halo CEA they have my full support. there were so many bungie-esque things in there I had to believe
