Do you think we'll be getting a BTB map?

Do you think that we’ll be getting one or two BTB focused maps? So far it seems each map is set to be balanced for all types.

“Complex” and the remake look like they might fill that role.

“Both” in the no option means small and large play.

i Think 2, or maybe 3, i just want those mammoth

Exile and Longbow look to be appropriate for BTB, and the remake was hinted at to be large

Appropriate, yes, but they were made for various game types. While having all big maps are bad, I’d like one map to be essentially “BTB only”

I think the BTB map for halo 4 could likely be Waterworks, since there is a lot of evidence contributing to its possible remake in halo 4. The whole business going around about the Valhalla thing(Which is really Complex) is more than a little ridiculous IMO.

We’re not supposed to talk about that

I would say based on what we’ve seen…

Haven: Small-Medium
Adrift: Medium
Longbow: Medium-Large
Exile: Medium-Large
Solace: Medium
Complex: Medium-Large
Remake: Large

That leaves 3 left, and I am guessing they will fill in the much needed small or large catagories since we have so many that can be considered close to medium.

  1. Small
  2. Medium-Large
  3. Large

That’s probably the most likely setup. You have to realize with sprint, maps won’t feel as big anymore. So even though there’s no real super small maps like Lockout or Beaver Creek, with sprint some of the medium sized maps will feel just as small. So that’s why I expect the overall shipped maps to be:

Small: 1
Small-Medium: 1
Medium: 2
Medium-Large: 3
Large: 2

4 vs 4(5 vs 5) can play on Small, Small-Medium, Medium, and Medium-Large maps. 8 vs 8 can play on Medium, Medium-Large, and Large maps. Giving each 7 maps to play comfortably on.

Just seems to be the most appropriate given the more fast paced gameplay. With 9 DLC maps, they can obviously add more to even everything out if it feels like one size is lacking a presense.
