I have not got an Xbox Series X and will be waiting for more multiplayer footage before I commit to anything as personally the XSX has nothing to offer me right now.
Am really hoping they release a Halo themed special edition console so if I do buy an XSX I can get one of them.
I’m really hoping they show some arena style gameplay and what the maps look like. Am I right in thinking you can shoot and sprint at the same time? I’d love it if sprint were just an animation and not actually anything that affected gameplay.

I personally hope they will reveal a special edition closer to launch but have it in very high amounts in time for the holiday season, but at the same time i think it would be like the mess that we currently have with only those using scalper bots will be able to get their hands on it.
Im in the same boat. I want the inevitable halo themed console but I worry it wont come out until well after the game does. I think that was the case with Halo 5.

I would pay so much money for one it’s unreal, i have saved almost $2,000 just for Halo Infinite, the game, the console, even anything i can buy for cosmetics. I’ve never been so hyped in my life.

Since I have gamepass, I’m willing to drop a hundred on cosmetics and battlepass. I imagine a 2TB, 2 controller edition for $600. I’m down.

I just hope they are more easy to find than a Series X and that they don’t let scalpers buy the entire stock on day one…

Realistically, no.
MS and Sony are having enough trouble getting their standard consoles to consumers, without introducing a new model that essentially ‘has’ to be on shelves by the end of the year.
They’ll probably wait until the next big expansion in 22 or 23 to do an LE console. That way, it also works as a way of attracting late adopters to next-gen.
I really would like to see a themed controller though.
Where they could go the extra mile here, is if the battery plate was transparent or absent, then they could design a battery pack that looks like a fusion coil, and then a heavy duty threaded military looking USB cable to charge it. That would be nice.
