Do you think this would be a good idea?

So I was thinking about forge and I thought about background effects.

What about being able to set up a background element to the maps you create? For example: Remember Zanzibar from Halo 3 (the remake of the Halo 2 map) and remember when you went inside the main building where the objectives were located and against the back wall you could see farther back into the building but could not go in there?

Wouldn’t it be cool if you could put some sort of pic up like that in your forge maps for Halo 4? I think it would be a nice immersive feature like if you were to create a 4v4 slayer map inside an enclosed structure. There could be various options to choose from and it could be set up like the shield door options (meaning they are predetermined designs). Different sizes and shapes.

What do you think? Hopefully I explained that good enough?

p.s. This is not a topic about day/night/weather settings as I don’t care about that, so please stay on topic.

sure, I guess that would be cool.

I’m not particulary bothered either way. The problem is however that the system would be abused and most likely the backgrounds would be changed into various pictures of male genitalia.

Can you please re-read the part where I said it would be set up like the shield doors. this means they would be pre-determined.

Get your mind out of the gutter.
