Season 3 will be delayed or won’t happen in the way fans expect based on the reveal. Now that 343 has had a sizable chunk of it’s staff laid off and Joe Staten has left 343, Halo is on the way out it seems.

Thats what im thinking too. Big layoffs and the survey going around. I’m betting last minute delay or gutting of s3 content.

Then again stuff like the rifle and shroud screen have been in the game for ages.

All I ask for is Forge maps in Matchmaking…

There has to be atleast +20 Legacy remakes so far - all with properly placed Bot pathing and multiple gamemode support and some that geniuly fit modern themes such as the Banished aesthetic or compensates with Infinite’s movement system, but 343 doesnt seem to bat an eye?

Such a minimalistic experience playing some new to mostly the old maps that have been there from launch over a year ago. Change is urgent!

forge maps in matchmaking is not going to help at all.

i not know if you have follow all the news on the forum all but forge has not save the game at all.
so why adding forge maps in matchmaking if forge it self not has save the game at all.

you most know that the mutliplayer population has make a big crash last year and never has recover from it at all sadly it has only become more worse.

We are almost a month out from season 3 and no updates on if it’s still coming or “subject to change” we slick need another road map for the future of Halo or at least what to expect the rest of this year. They don’t communicate well at all.

Flights: “Just wait 'till the beta, things will get much better”
Beta: "This is a beta, we’ll get more stuff and have issues fixed at release.
Release: “When season 2 drops in 3 months we’ll get co-op and more MP maps, and Forge with season 3 in six months”
Prolonged season 1: “They need more time to fix things, we’ll be guaranteed to get more stuff and Co-Op with season 2 launch”
Season 2: “Just wait for Co-Op, that’ll fire things up”
Co-op release: “Oh man, things will change when Forge is released”
Forge release: “Season 3 will bring the goodies”

Yeah we’ve seen that spiel quite a few times over the years for different titles.

I really don’t think it will turn around when they use “Contractors.” Contractors are there to make money and most likely never heard of Halo at all. I bet most contractors really do not play FPS games at all. They need to hire “FULL TIME PEOPLE” that will be really dedicated to the game PERIOD!!!

Absolutely.
From what I understand, the use of contractors has been to avoid certain responsibilities that come after having a person under contract for a certain amount of time.
Wonder if that “investment” payed of.

100% truth.

Forge is the only one on here that I don’t think got a fair shake for 2 reasons:

  1. Forge needs CGB in order for it to reach its full potential. Right now CGB is busted (and wasn’t supposed be released until March anyways)

  2. Forge needs a community playlist so everyone can easily access the best maps.

We have neither of these right now.

I voted no. Like others have said I hope I am proved wrong next month. Other than that the only thing I will say is Halo Infinite isn’t fun. I’m tired of the same maps. I’m tired of the new weapons because they’re boring. We’re only getting one new weapon…really. Ok I’m done.

First the Cov setbacks.

The bad game bugs from hiring different works and than letting tham go to save money.

So now that it looks like there making some progress in the game Microsoft starts cutting jobs left and right.

Nah. The games bugs were justified because they had years in the future to work on them and the engine.

Now they are switching engines for the next game and the 10 year modular plan is scrapped.

Infinite has until 2025 and then you’ll see support dropped.

I have zero confidence in 343 after almost 1.5 years of issues that are still in Halo Infinite. S3 will show me if I should play more Halo Infinite or just play more Halo MCC and on my Battlefield 2042 server. It’s in 343 Hands now!

No, we have to turn it around ourselves. There is simply no guarantee that 343 will ever be able to pull it together. The only way that things will get better is if we push for the company to be open with us and be far more receptive to feedback. Their business strategies need to be completely revised and their system of development needs serious work. They simply aren’t going to make it without the communities help.

I firmly belive that during or after Season 4 we will officially be back on track. I know a few details of what’s returning that the fans been wanting to return as an enemy but I can’t say what due to Microsofts terms, so I will keep quiet.

Im going to enjoy everything good that comes from the update. So far I’ve seen many great things in the trailer so personally I think it maybe is a turning point but I cant say anything until its released. The more realistic side of me would say it will be a whiff, but oh I would love to be proved wrong.
