So, do you think that they will make Spartan Ops Season 2? If, so, how long do you think we’ll have to wait for the season to arrive?
I would think if enough support is shown, 343i would deliver another season.
As for how long, I’d gauge a few months in order to devise a plot, construct missions and make the CGI cut-scenes.
As long as 343 could take a longer time making it and added more diversity, I’ll take it, honestly I hope it has a good story as that’s the only reason i play halo
Honestly, while I’ve enjoyed Spartan Ops, there are other things I’d rather they focus on getting done. Campaigns are just simply better than Spartan Ops missions.
I think another season would be great and I really hope they make one.

I really hope a Season 2 comes out. I’ll gladly buy it on Day1.
As for when it’ll come out, I’d say near the end of this year.
If season 2 were to be made (and for various reasons, I think that’s a big if), it wouldn’t be out until near the end of the year. Mid-fall at the earliest.
If it does happen, I would whole heartedly support it.
I hope so. Spartan ops is my only favorite thing about halo 4 .
Spartan Ops is the only reason I get on Halo 4. It gives me a reason to keep coming back. Sure Multiplayer is great, but I hate playing it by myself. Spartan Ops is something I can go back to and challenge myself to play a different way. I would totally support a second season.
The problem is how would 343i know if there is enough support for another season? I mean sure, they can build it and hope that people will buy it but thats really sketchy. I wonder if they’ll have a kickstarter or something for it.

Man i hope so i would be dissapointed because i mostly play spartan ops more fun and i would pay for it actually if it did cost i think it would go on a brake like the last half season
IMO it’s already complete or in the middle of being made. It makes no sense to start production of season 2 after season 1 finishes. That is far too long for delivery of season 2. The audience would reduce too much.
When you factor in the timing of the map packs, TU and all that plus next generation news or releases this year/next year I think the short answer is within weeks or months after season 1 we’ll see season 2.
I’ve said it before I just don’t see them waiting 6 months of production for mocap, audio, dialogue, writing, CGI, testing, certification and more. In reality they would have already decided about season 2.
I’m in support of a second season, but these are what could prevent me from making a purchase;
1. Intense Spartan Ops Lag
I’m not sure if this is 343’s fault, but boy, the Spartan Ops experience totally suffers from the intense lag.
2. Will my friends play it?
I want to be able to play with my friends.
3. Will it be of good quality?
I loved some of the Spartan Ops episodes like Episode 6 and 7, but Episodes like 1-3 wouldn’t encourage me to buy the season.
4. How many times will each Spartan Ops Episode be up on Matchmaking?
I hope at least 2 times, because some weeks I am very busy. I want to be able to play what I paid for.
I’m pretty sure 343 already made the second season though, or are nearly done making the missions for it.
That depends on one rather important question: Will we have to buy it?
If yes, then I hope they dont make a second season, and instead use those resources towards the development of Halo 5.
If no, then I hope they do make a second season, but that they dont spend so much time on it that we have to wait longer for Halo 5.

Dude I gave up on spartan ops on line a long time ago to much lag to be fun. I just play them solo now on normal.
