I personally hope there is a large scale (most likely paid) DLC that is launching this fall which will bring the return of spartan ops style co op/ solo missions to expand or bridge the story between halo 5 and halo 6. I also hope this includes very hard vidmaster style challenges which unlock ultra rare/legendary REQS and new achievements!!. If this mode is an evolution of the spartan ops from halo 4 in terms of scale and scope both gameplay wise/story wise I think it would be fair to charge 29.99-39.99 for it. Also I hope there is some new maps/modes for multi launched for free to not split the player base.
I say this as Im trying to keep it realistic as obviously HALO 6 COMING THIS FALL!!! FOR FREE!!! would be better but not realistic haha… anyone else have any thoughts / wishes?
Idk why but Spartan Ops was so dry to me. Whenever people ask for it back I can’t understand why. BUT my wishlist… Halo Wars 2 gameplay, H6 teaser. I originally thought we might get a trailer for the next Halo game that comes a year before H6 but it might be too soon. I hope the H5 update train shows up and drops off a look into the next load of updates (I hope!) H5 can’t be left all alone after June FF update… Right? D;

I agree that in its current form it was lackluster as far as the gameplay was concered but i did like the story it told… I guess a better example of what i ment by “evolution” of spartan ops would be something along the lines of an ODST-style campaign that brings us to from halo 5 to 6 however I would assume it would be episodic as its a lot of work to build a campaign and it hasnt been much time since halo 5.

Well we are going to see Halo Wars 2 and if they have any plans for 2017 we will probably see that too. There may be a teaser for H6 but this far out it would be short. They may announce more for H5 but I feel the focus is going to be on Wars 2 and anything they have for 2017.
I’d love a Spartan Ops Season 2! I really enjoyed the concept that MP was training for your spartan and Ops was there for your spartan to put that training to use. I had a lot of fun in Halo 4 playing through those missions, and I was a bit disappointed to find out it wasn’t included in Halo 5. It might be a bit late in the game to implement it in Halo 5, but as it’s own stand alone game, or as a part of Halo 6, there’s still hope!
