Do you think this year there will be a Halo 5 Xbox One Console Bundle? I believe we’ve had a console bundle for every major Halo game release thus far, so would be surprised if they decided not to.
Oh yes absolutely.
I hope so.
They need to do this. Something along the lines of the Call of Duty Advance Warfare Xbox One console… custom X1 console design, custom X1 controller, custom Guilty Spark power up/down button sound, 3.43 TB of internal space, etc…
probably

That internal space size does sound cool, but is a fantasy. I doubt we’ll see sizes that big until the mid-gen consoles are released or maybe even next gen if the console makers are slow and lazy.
Though I am excited to see what they do. The Halo 4 bundle looked AMAZING with its semi-transparent/custom design. If they can do something like that with an Xbox One (and include a Kinect) I will look into selling mine and buying it.

What are you talking about, 3.43 TB of storage is entirely feasible. I’ve seen 4 TB internal hard drives on Amazon. Granted they were solid state drives, but still, 4 FREAKING TB of storage!!

4TB of storage itself is easily plausible, but Microsoft putting in on a console that released with 500GB? No. It’ll be like with the 360. The first one released has crap storage, then when the 2nd iteration of it appears, it has a lot more. The 360s went from 4 GB to the Slims with 250 GB. I’m not sure if we’ll see that dramatic of a jump, but its possible I guess.
In a 64 GB SSD you could easily fit ALL of the important bits on that. Upgrading to anything higher and I’d say the price isn’t really worth the reduction in read speeds. So, to keep the console cheap, I doubt they’ll go up that high. Unless you are talking about HDDs, which are a different thing all together. With HDDs, it’s literally $0.10>1GB.
And, what were they internal drives for? Computers? Because I’m pretty sure it is still against the warranty to open a console and modify it. And with the availability of USB splitters and external drives, it’d be stupid to void the warranty just to eliminate the “clutter” or “mess”.
So, could I see a link?
Edit: Just did some research, and the current max for a 2.5 inch SSD is 4TB. And based off of the prices I saw o Google for a 1TB SSD, a console with a 4TB SSD would cost around $2000 easily. Unless you use a hybrid, but that’ll still drive the cost up anywhere from $100 to $200.
I like to see one. I would definitely look into getting it if it had more then 1tb on it
An xbone with Halo 5: sure
An xbone with a Halo 5 skin and a copy of Halo 5: sure
An xbone with a Halo 5 copy and exclusive content: for the love yoinking Christ, no!!! This trend is cancerous to gaming.

I’d probably be a “timed exclusive” so it wouldn’t matter.

Yeah, but 3-4 years in the future, such storage devices would become less expensive, and if the economy ever gets better ( thanks, Obama), then people might be willing to pay more money for the next iteration of the Xbox One, which could be slightly more expensive for a more powerful system.
Sure, it would screw anyone who bought the 2013 version of the console, but it still can be done.
And, I never suggested that someone should modify their console using 3rd party components. I just suggested that we could get much bigger internal storage devices for the LunchBox One. Modifying Xbox’s is illegal, I think. We would not want anyone to get the wrong idea that I support modding consoles.

I’m not sure if modding is “illegal”, but it definitely voids the warranty, which can be very powerful and important.
The economy, of the USA at least, has gotten better since Obama took office. A very common example I could cite is dropping gas prices. There are areas where gas had dropped below $2.
And while there will be price drops in technology in the next few years, I doubt we’ll see a major jump in storage sizes for consoles. The second iteration of the Xbox One will probably have either 2TB, 5TB, or 10TB depending on when it is released. The next generation will probably open with 10TB or 20TB. That part is hard to guess because it is still 8 years away.
And yeah, I guess that would be a “screw you” to the early adopters, but every iteration of a console is. You could say the Slim was a “screw you” to the people who bought the original Xbox 360.
But, as for the Halo 5 Bundle, it will either come with 500GB, 1TB, or maybe…just maybe… 2TB. After all, it will be releasing in only about 8 to 10 months. Not really enough time to bump up the storage capacity 700% (yes, increasing 500GB to 3.5TB, which is what it’d have to have to have 3.43 TB space, is a 700% increase).
And, after triple checking, that sentence with three ‘haves’ is grammatically correct.

All right, you win. Let’s not talk politics because there are other examples I could cite, because it was a joke, and because it’s probably against forum rules anyway.

Sorry that I misunderstood. It’s just that few Americans know anything about politics, but many love to act like they know everything. And one thing that is always “certain” is that Obama is doing a bad job.
Probably. Halo has always been the Xbox’s main game.
If they had a Kinect bundle I’d for sure but it but otherwise there is no use for me to go for a halo bundle since I already have the One
Halo 5 console bundle with connect for 450USD would be an awesome deal or $400USD without kKnect and custom xbox one skin
They will probably reléase a bunch of bundles, like they did in Halo 4. A console + controller + game bundle, a console + 2 controllers + game bundle, a console + controler + Kinect + game, and even a controller + game bundle.
Ya, I have no doubts they will. Talked to a MS store guy about it, not that they know everything, but the manager said you could count on MS launching their
“IP Baby/toddlerKing” with an exclusive console, like they have in the past. Yes he did say the quote. I already have an Xbone though…hmm.
