And I don’t want to hear anything about the Combat Evolved pistol. It was the way it was in only the first game, we moved on from it for a reason, and the people who want it back are idiots.
And I’m pretty sure I’ve come to the correct conclusion that the only people who don’t want it changed are the ones who want to keep using it the way it is. It’s obvious, really. It makes using most other loadout weapons, and even a lot of power weapons practically useless.
Also, I don’t want to hear anything along the lines of “Ugh, somebody else complaining about the DMR? Not again.”
Among other things, it still hasn’t been changed, and so it still needs to be talked about.

Nope. The DMR is overpowered at all. 5 headshots vs. 5 BR headshots. The only difference is the scope, and the BR is more useful on smaller maps. So shut up and stop whining about it.

The BR fires slower than the DMR.

How it compares to guns from other games doesn’t tell us if it’s balanced or not, just how we should go about balancing it. (assuming kill times closer to H2 is the goal here.)
^ I know. I still use the BR because I’m simply better at it. You need to stop whining about the DMR because if it’s so good and everyoen is using it, it’s an even battlefield. But if you don’t why would you but yourself at such a distinct disadvantage?

Youre missing out on some on some very important aspects my man.
The DMR has a faster fire rate than the BR.
The DMR has no recoil, the BR does.
The DMR is good at short, medium and long distances. The BR is only good for short and medium
The only advantage the BR has over the DMR is bleed though.
Make the DMR’s fire rate the same as the BR’s and that will balance things out.
What a loaded, bias poll. If you want legitimate results don’t bias the result towards yes. And no the DMR is not op. if you practice and get comfortable with other guns such as the LR and carbine like me, you find they are quite capable just like a DMR
The real problem with the DMR is that since most people use it, jerks like you start polls and topics claiming that it’s a “n00btuber” weapon. The LightRIfle only takes 4 headshots as opposed to the DMR’s 5, so maybe you aren’t as good as you think you are.
Is so OP that i have beated experimented DMR users in mid-rage battles
with the BR, Light rifle (not scoped) and even the AR and Storm Rifle

Well he said not to bring up the CE Pistol, so I didn’t.
The H4 DMR compares well against the automatic weapons, Magnum, and the Light Rifle when each of the respective weapons are used within a specific niche. The DMR also helps to balance out the super-easy power weapons in this game, making them less of a free kill as they are when compared to the other precision spawn weapons.
