Bonnie has come out and that the game is going to have scope, scale, and drama. Since we’re getting two playable characters, this seems like they want this to have a great story and characters, full of epic scale and personal character drama. I hope they have a longer length for the Campaign feel right from both characters, so that one doesn’t feel too short. Do you think they’re making the Campaign longer?

I legitimately believe that Halo 5 will have a huge campaign. Considering that the game started development in 2012, I’m sure that 343 has something big just waiting for us. I hope that it is pretty open on some parts. Maybe the city from the trailers could be a hub area.
Sure hope it has a massive campaign, 8 full missions should not be enough to explain what will happen in Halo 5, I would hope to see something similar to halo 2,10-14 levels, and an actual boss fight (if deemed necessary)
I hope so, Halo 4 was depressingly short. Even Halo 3 was. Something along the lines of Halo 1 or 2 would be ideal. Realistically though, I’m expecting the normal 6-8 hour campaign that seems to be all the rage these days.
It would have to be. There’s at least two playable characters so having a story as short as Halo 4s wouldn’t make any sense. Hopefully it’s at least as long as Halo 2.
A good solid 15 missions would be amazing

Hopefully it could change perspectives as well and have them all tie in and meet
I am hoping for a nice long campaign but most games seem to be making them shorter. But I bet it will be 10 missions. Then we will have to wait for Halo 6.
I want a two-week campaign; Ms. Ross did promise scale.
I’d say 10-12 missions minimum. Make each mission about an hour long, then have plenty of memorable cut scenes.
I just want a good length. Halo 4 was so disappointing. Actually, just about every halo game after 2 was disappointingly short.
I am hoping that having Locke doesn’t take away from Chiefs missions. Halo 2 had missions for the Arbiter but that didn’t detract from Master Chiefs missions.I want 343i to do that. Campaign in Halo 4 is quite short and although great, not as repayable as past Halos were.
15+ hour campaign would be great
Though I reckon it will be longer then the previous ones anyway
I hope so, I miss the days of Halo 2 and it’s Huge Campaign
I honestly believe the game will have around 8 - 10 missions, on Normal difficulty you’ll probably finish it in 6 - 8 hours.
It’s been like this for quite a while, and I don’t think they’re changing the formula anytime soon. But hey, as long as the story is memorable, that’s all I need.
The way they’re presenting all of this information makes me think this might be a long campaign. Maybe 13 Missions? (Just a guess)
They seem to be going along the same vein as Halo 2 as far as story goes. Two playable characters telling their respective stories. With that in mind, I would expect about the same amount of missions: 15. Maybe more if 343 is feeling generous.
If the campaign isn’t open world, as some people are speculating, then I hope that we at least get some levels that have an open world fell to them. Like Silent Cartographer and Assault on the Control Room in Halo CE.

I’m anticipating/predicting a long campaign, open world-like playability, a boss fight, and non-linear levels. I think it will have some Mass Effect-like features (but still definitely not an RPG). I even think that there will be a portion of the game where you have your own ship (either as Locke or as Chief) and can travel to the next level of your choice.
