Would it add to the complexity of Halo’s story, or just be awkward?

Well what if the main storyline is about how chief is trying to turn Cortana into a human so that they can get married and have children?
Chief is raw man, he cant love.
Chief kills aliens, he doesn’t date them.
I’m not sure about a ‘romance’ however I think they should explore the relationship between the Chief and Cortana.

He just needs to find Dr. Halsey.
There should be some. But I can’t see too much room for it in Halo 4, but maybe in 5 or 6.
There kind of already is between Master Chief and Cortana in Halo 3 (“Dont give a girl a promise if you can never keep it” or something) so we will have to see what that develops into.
Romance is better suited for rpg’s, it would just slow down Halo’s pacing.

That’s kind of sick, considering that Halsey is practically John’s mother, and that Cortana is based on Halsey.
I’d rather not see Halo turn into Mass Effect.
Wasn’t there something with the S2’s, in their genetic enhancement, that because they were fast tracked through puberty, they had pretty much no -Yoink!- drive whatsoever?
I think that would kill any love story, that wasn’t a brotherly/sisterly kind of love, and that has been been established already.

John is not in love with Cortana, so can we please drop the whole “Let’s turn Cortana human!” crap please? If 343 pulled that, I’d be done with Halo. That would just ruin the story many times over.
